Den and Hunter finally made it back to route 801 for more training to be done, however it seems that the Gustella wind did not wish to leave their side. It was very windy windy out, but at least there were no signs of rain anywhere, just wind. A lot of wind and one good ol' fashion cold front.
"Grr...I hate this cold weather..." Den grumbled a little, wishing he stayed at the Pokemon center a little longer. He wasn't a fan of the cold winds that hand joined them on their journey. Beside Den, Ryu floated, seemingly unfazed by the cold winds that would of normally pushed a small floating Pokemon around, nothing seemed to break that Pokemon's calm, quiet personality...
"I don't know, it's not all that bad," Hunter said, Vanillite cheerfully flying around, happy for the cold weather. Following along behind the two trainers were a pair of Pokemon who weren't enjoying the cold as much. Shivering as they walked along, the both of them attacked the traveling trainers in the hopes that the battle would help them warm up.

Den cursed a little to himself as they got ambushed by the wild Pokemon. He did not like having to battle when he was cold, he hated the cold and winter. Then again, as an unwilling trainer, it was his job to train these monsters, the appearance of these wild Pokemon meant that he would be able to make these creatures stronger.
"Ryu, go battle one of them." Den called out to the Magnemite who responded with a nod and began to summon up some electrical power, eventually summoning up enough and shooting it out at the Seedot.
Startled by the electrical shock suddenly aimed at her, the female Seedot hit the road and fled. No way was she getting shocked today, especially by a steel type Pokemon.

"Sorry about that," Hunter said as he watched the Seedot ran off. Her friend on the other hand stayed put, seemingly unsure whether to stay or run. Seeing him hesitate, Vanillite decided to take initiative and attacked with Icicle Spear.

The Bellsprout wasn't too happy seeing his friend run off, coward! He on the other hand would stand his ground, he would fight no matter what! The human sent out a Vanillite. An Ice type, wasn't it cold enough already? His current enemy began to shoot him with ice, dealing high damage to him, this was not good, but he would still stand his ground. No backing out.
With all he could, knowing he might just go down in the next turn or so, he attacked with his vine whip. Attempting to do harm to his enemy, that's what he would do, fight. Fight till the end!

He admits it, he is tired, he stood no chance against one who is stronger and a more worthy fighter then him, he couldn't back down though. No, that was against his beliefs, he could and would not back down. With one last try, he shot out his bullet seed at the Vanillite, hoping that alone can at least do something, anything.
But of course, Arceus-forbid life to go easy on him and give him any hope. No sir.

Just as the wild Pokemon were finished off, two trainers spotted the duo. "Oh look! Theres some people! Lets go battle them so we can get stronger!" One of the young voices said. The other giggled and took our her Pokemon.
" I like Pokemon and Pokemon battles, they're fun.~" She said happily, awaiting to see what Den and Hunter would sent out.

Den growled, a little annoyed in the children, but he accepted the battle anyway. "Whatever...Ryu, go battle the Rufflet." He told his Pokemon. Ryu blinked calmly before charging his power. Once he felt that enough electricity was collected, Ryu fired his thunder shock at the bird, dealing a good amount of damage.
[RESULT: 5] +1
Ryu: 21/21 Rufflet: 9/15
"Yay! I like Vanillite, they're fun!" The child said a little of topic from the battle. "My older brother had a Vanillite once, and he made me lots of frozen treats, yum.~" Suddenly Tina remembered that she was in a battle. "Oh! Uh, ya. Vullaby use gust!"

"That so?" Hunter said happily, signalling to Vanillite to go a bit easier on the girl's Pokemon. Puffing up angrily, the ice type decided to attack with another Icicle Spear.
[RESULT: 7] +1 Type Advantage
Vanillite: 21/23 Vullaby: 3/15 ---------------------------------- "Woah," Eddy said, eyes wide as he watched Ryu. Pulling himself back up from the attack, Rufflet chirped at his trainer for orders. "Oh right. Um...Use Gust too!"

'Gust wasn't the best move to be used on a Magnemite.' Ryu thought to himself. The Rufflet wasn't bad though, despite the attack doing next to nothing because of his type advantages, the attack would of normally done rather well. Not like he'd say anything though. No matter, Ryu attacked again with his ThunderShock attack. The attack was just enough to take out the small bird.
[RESULT: 8] +1
Ryu: 18/21 Rufflet: 0/15 -fainted-
---- "Wow! Your Vanillite is so strong!" Tina said, amazed at the Vanillite's strength. "It's my turn now. Yay! Vullaby use another gust attack!"
Vullaby did what her owner said, however, she failed to land a hit on the Vanillite this time, as the other swiftly dodged around the flying attack.
"Aw, Our Pokemon fainted" Eddy said, a little sad to see how quickly their Pokemon were taken out. "Ya, these Pokemon are very strong!" Tina excitedly stated before grabbing out her next Pokemon. Eddy nodded and followed Tina in sending out his Pokemon.
