Oh wow, Mio was 13? "Aw! Happy Belated birthday!" Zola said excitedly. "Yes, happy Belated birthday. I guess you can't be considered a little girl now that your 13, sure makes us feel old though..." Zola giggled a little at her brother's comment.

Kiara kept her eyes on the Farfetch'd as she got a little closer to him and attempted to pet the bird. He seemed so...feathery.

[Timothy]

Timothy coughs lightly and adjusts his glasses, his sad eyes shining at the others. "I'm ready for some battle. If she's coming along, she's gonna pull her weight. Time to find us some Pokemon." Timothy motioned for Sakura to get off his arm and returned the other two pokemon. It'd be Tepig's turn soon.

[Mio]

Mio mumbled to herself, assuming Tim just made a fat joke about her. "I guess I'll come along.." she said quietly, gently picking up her Farfetch'D away from Kiara without realizing it, and snuggled him gently, getting a pleased 'Farrrr' in reply.

[Zola & Zalmon]

The twins returned all but Kiara, Takia and Waka, Waka wouldn't go back in the Pokeball for some reason anyway, and followed the group, unaware that three Pokemon saw the group and knew what they were looking for....

Ohohoh~ So these kiddies wish for a battle. aye? Well they'll get just that they want. Suddenly three Pokemon attacked with fire in their eyes. Now was their time to shine! Go team! Go fight! Go win!

"That thing." Timothy pulls out a Pokeball, motioning for Sakura to go. "Is mine." Timothy points at the Poochyena. "Go! Thunder Fang!" Sakura leaps forward, jolts of lightning flying from her fangs. She jumps up and sinks her fangs deep into the Poochyena bare flesh.

"Now then, time for you to be mine." Timothy swiftly threw the Pokeball at the Poochyena, sending it zapping into the ball.

[Mio]

Mio got a bit excited, and looked down at her Farfetch'D in her arms, struggling to fight. She put him down as carefully as she could and let him run forward infront of the Buneary. "Oh? You want to fight that one? Okay..." she started recalling some of the attacks and then, pointed forward, "Okay Ducky! Use Fury Cutter!" she yelled, as the Farfetch'D began running at the Buneary as fast as he could, and slashing at the rabbit Pokemon with it's leek.

Mio felt pride in her Pokemon. "Good job!" she said, smiling and giving a jump.

So the battle has begun, huh? The twins watched as Mio and Timothy picked their opponents, leaving the Patrat as the last one. "Oh, lucky for us, a normal type, this means I can work on training Takia!" The Keldeo snorted and ran over to the spot. "Awesome! Takia, use Aqua Jet!"

Takia engulfed herself in water and charged at the Patrat to deliver the watery version of quick attack.

Buneary did not like getting hit by the Farfetch'd, she decided to attack back with a pound attack.

Patrat knew it couldn't do mcuh to this, Tackle was really the only effective way. It looked over and saw that Poochyena was already in it's Pokeball. That Lillipup. It works fast man. Anyways, the Patrat shot forward without a second thought, ramming into it's opponent with a sharp squeel. Barely doing anything.

Mio suddenly got very defensive, becoming upset seeing her baby being hit. "Ducky! I believe in you! Use Leaf Blade!" she called out, as the Farfetch'D gave a determined boasting look at the Buneary, and slashed it as hard as it could with it's leek.

The Farfetch'D hit as hard he could, as the Buneary smugly blocked it with it's paw. The Farfetch'D then looked at the Buneary in disbelief, then at Mio, expecting to be scolded. Mio shook her head, "It's okay Ducky! You're trying!"

[Zola & Zalmon]

Takia smirked at the little damage that the Patrat did, if the other kept doing little damage like this, Takia might have an easy win. "Alright Takia, lets use Mega kick now!"

[RESULT: 1]

The Patrat managed to endure the attack quite well, blocking most of the damage, though failing to avoid the entire hit.

The Buneary smirked, still happy about no damage being done to her, it was her turn now, lets see if this bird can take another hit. Buneary engulfed her fist in frosty ice and punched at the Farfetch'd.

Patrat shot forward, wasting no time, it rammed into the opponent again, ready for the battle ahead!

Mio decided to try again, "Ducky, use Leaf Blade again!". Farfetch'D didn't want to let his Trainer down, so he gripped his leek tightly, and swung down as hard as he could allow his body to....

And landed a rather successful hit! Mio cheered as the Farfetch'D stood with pride. "You're the best Ducky! Yay!" she called, motivating Ducky.

"Alright Takia, lets try Mega kick again!" Zola called out to her Keldeo, who nodded in response and began to kick at the Patrat again.

[RESULT: 9]

This time however, the Patrat was unable to block the attack and was kicked painfully. "Great job, Takia!"

Buneary glared at the Farfetch'd that attack hurt! She began to pound at the duck again, in responce to his leaf bladed attack.

Patrat, having gave up, used leer on it's opponent, as if not wanting to harm it any farther. Missing entirely.

Mio gasped, seeing the Farfetch'D get hit majorly. She started to rush towards him, but was given a 'Don't worry' look. So she sighed and nodded, "Okay...Use Peck..but don't strain yourself too hard!"

The Farfetch'D landed one last hit, effectively making the Buneary faint. He ran back over to Mio expecting praise, and praise he received. "You did so well!!" she said, petting him and giving him kisses.
