[Timothy]

Timothy again wanders into Route 801 with his companions, it's time to train his newly obtained Lillipup and Tepig. Of course, he has high hopes for these two. "Let's see what you two are made of." Tim exclaimed, scratching the top of his Lillipup's head and rubbing Nitro's pokeball with his thumb.

[Zola & Zalmon]

The twins followed Timothy though route 801, looking for more challenges within the small route. While wilds would of been nice, none were found at the moment. "Wow, there doesn't seem to be any Pokemon around now." Zola sighed, obviously disappointed in not getting to battle anything yet.
Before anything else could be said, two travelers could be seen from near by. "Wow, what a great day to look for something to battle." The female trainer said happily. "Heh, ya. I guess, but it seems there's nothing to battle, maybe now would be a good time to take a break?" The other said, somewhat tired. "We've been traveling around nonstop."

The girl laughed at her friend. "Aw, don't be silly, we've barley been out for an hour. Oh! hold on, I see some trainers up ahead." The lady waved to Timothy and the twins. "Hey! Mind if we battle?" She said and grabbed out her Pokeball, running over to the group, her friend struggling behind to keep up.

"What a stroke of luck! Water Pokemon! I got the girl." Tim said, pointing for his Lillipup to go. "Now, let's see if you can live up to my Medicham, little girl. Now, use Thunder Fang on Shellos!" Lillipup lunges at the Shellos, charging her fangs with electricity and biting down onto the soft skin of the slug.

[Zola & Zalmon]

"Hm...What should we use, Zola?" Zalmon asked looking at the other's Pokemon, a water type sea slug. "I think you should use Waka!" His sister said happily, which did not please Zalmon in the slightest. "After what happened last time I sent him out?! He's useless!" Zola laughed at her brother and continued to convince him to use his Rotom, after a moment she won as usual and with a sigh, Zalmon sent out his ghost.

"Rrrrrrrrrootttooooom!" A loud Screech was herd as Zalmon released Waka followed by an equally loud static-y sound. " Waka, use your thunder shock attack! Not like you'll use anything else anyway."

[RESULT: 7] +1


The Pokemon flipped himself upside down and began to spin rapidly. As he spun, static began to form. After enough was created, Waka shot the bolt of electricity at the Shellos, dealing a good amount of damage and making a great start in the battle, leaving Zalmon surprised his Pokemon's powerful shock.

"Oh wow! What a shock!" Olivia said, amazed at the Lillipup's thunder-fang. "Your pup's got quite the bite. Anyway, it's our turn to attack now. Shellos, use Mud-Slap!" The slug coughed up some water and poured it on the ground, turning it to mud and flung it at the Lillipup.

[Timothy]

"Nice. Now then, Lillipup, again!" Tim exclaimed, commanding Lillipup. Lillipup charged her attack and then lunged, bites deep into the squishy body of her opponent.

"Dang! That Rotom sure is shocking," laughed Daniel. "Now then, Shellos, use Brine!" Shellos flings a flurry of steaming water at Rotom, screeching as it does.

[Zola & Zalmon]

The shot of water that drenched Waka ended up putting him right side up again, as if the Plasma creature didn't notice he shot another blast of electricity at the Shellos. The attack did little damage this time however, almost as if Waka had to be upside down to hit well.

"No! Shellos! Okay, use Brine once more!" Shellos lightly shoots his steaming water at the Rotom, as if losing hope.

Still paying no attention to the fact that he was doing nothing again, Waka continued to use his favorite shocking move, Zalmon on the other hand sat in the background, sighing about his Pokemon going back to being a failure...But something left Zalmon wondering, why did Waka never use any other attacks, he surely knew something else, and why did the attack do well when he was upside down but fail miserably when right-side up? He'd never know with that strange Pokemon...

[Timothy]

"It's okay Shellos! Finish it! Come on!" screamed Daniel. The Shellos had a hint of confidence twinkle in his eye, using a full power brine on it's foe after a long charge.

[Zola & Zalmon]

The more Zalmon thought about it, the more curious about the upside-down theory he came up with. Deciding to test it, Zalmon ran up to his Pokemon and flipped him upside-down. "Finish this off, Waka!" He told his Pokemon before backing away from the battle.

Waka began to spin rapidly again and sparks began to fly, Waka attacked the Shellos powerfully finishing the Pokemon off with a blast of power.

Both trainers returned their Pokemon, amazed in their Opponent's Pokemon and their abilities. They weren't finished yet though as they sent out another batch of Pokemon, this time, instead of slugs, they sent out birds.

"Oh look. Fresh meat for my little puppy. Go, take a chunk out with thunder fang!" Exclaimed Timothy. Lillipup charges her mouth, shooting forward and biting down upon the enemy.

"A bird, huh?" Zalmon said, thinking a moment before shrugging. "Well, I guess electric still works in this match-up."

Waka laughed a creepy low-pitched motor like laugh before attacking with his usual loved attack, blasting a powerful electric shock at the dark crow

"Wow, your Lillipup still has quite a lot of power in her, we should take that down a notch. Don't you think, Swablu?" Olivia asked her bird Pokemon, who gave a nod and began to growl at the Lillipup in an attempt to lower her attack power.

[Timothy]

"That won't help your case, hun, but I gotta finish this," kid Timothy. "Now, finish this, Lillipup. Thunder Fang!" Lillipup again charged her Thunder Fang, more confident in herself than normal. The electricity in her fang seemed to shrink though, obviously from the previous move.

"Urg... Murkrow! Peck!" Murkrow shoots forward, thrusting it's beak at the opponent's headbody.

Waka continued to blow sparks at the bird, Zalmon actually though his Pokemon might actually beat this battle before Timothy did, however this didn't seem to be the case. The Murkrow, smart enough to learn from the last high, was able to dodge the electrical attack this time.

Swablu went down from the attack, but didn't stay down as he slowly rose back up. "Wow, that almost brought Swablu down, glad that growl attack stopped your Pokemon from finishing him off." Olivia said happily before commanding her Pokemon to peck at Timothy's Lillipup.

[Timothy]

Lillipup acted on it's own, shooting itself forward and biting down upon the Swablu with anger in her eyes, the charge on the Thunder Fang was a long one, it was especially powerful. She knew that this would demolish this Swablu. That nothing could stop her! She bit down upon to the Swablu, sending it shooting towards the ground in a blaze of electricity and feathers. "Good fight, girl." Tim said lightly.

"Murkrow! Quick! Before it has a chance to do anything else! Pursuit!" The Murkrow shot forward with extreme speed, covered in a purple aura that seemed to overtake the Rotom when hit, as if scanning the Rotom for any signs of being switched out, only to pitter away when it did not detect anything.
