Ian and Auric. Those were some names alright - couldn't say she'd ever heard of them before. Sighing, she shrugged her shoulders, somewhat surprised when Auric pointed out that Ian's pokemon weren't named. Was her attitude infectious? She didn't suspect this boy to be so eager to judge, but then again, she barely knew either of them. Davis flicked his gaze over to Druddigon, but that's all he did. Darned dragon better not try to steal his glory...
At the thought of a battle against Auric, Tolouse sort of chuckled. "Boy, me 'an Davis might be a wee bit outta your league" she said, crossing her arms. The Keldeo was, of course, quite interested in the aspect of battling only because he was suddenly put in the spotlight. See what he could really do? Hah! If he insisted~ not needing any instructions, the pokemon leaped to the side, facing Auric in a stance while Tolouse got into position behind him, waiting for the trainer.
"Well? Where's your pokemon, then? Can't be at this forever, Davis 'n I got some training to do."

Flying above, a Tailow looked down at the three trainers below. Seeing a chance to get some fun, she flew down towards her two friends behind a nearby bush. Rousing the two awake, she and the others leaped out, each of them charging at a trainer of their choice. His mind was a bit too distracted with thinking of a nickname for his Elgyem to notice Davis trying to put more spotlight on himself or Tolouse being impatient. He glanced over to Ian for a moment and frowned before staring intently at his own pokeball again. He grinned widely when he came up with a name. It was very fitting for a psychic pokemon and one that held a great deal of meaning behind it. As he looked up at Tolouse to give her a reply and send out his partner he caught a glimpse of something in his peripheral vision. A quick jerk of his head and he laid eyes on two wild pokemon rushing right at them. The Weedle was aiming it's horn right at him. Without thinking he loosed the purple ball in his hand, "Zanshin, teach them not to interrupt a friendly meeting!" That was his name. Zanshin. It meant 'Remaining Mind.' A sort of constant vigilance of the mind. It was a mental conditioning that many great warriors, particularly Samurai, learned to stay alert and aware of their surroundings at all times even when asleep. This was especially true for Psychic Pokemon, whose minds were active at a heightened level naturally.
"Confusion!" Auric called out to his Pokemon as the little bug rushed at them. The little green pokemon with an egghead loosed a burst of psychic energy towards the Weedle in hopes of stopping its advance and possibly knocking it back, disorienting it.
