Gavin had gotten off the boat into Dust Town and looked around for a bit. He had a sketch book out, because he had been drawing some pokemon, he saw in the water and in the air, as the boat cruised along the water. Gavin finished up some final details he had remembered from the pokemon on the sketches. Gavin's photographic memory and good use of logic, helped him in the long run. Gavin finished up the sketches and put the sketch pad away.
Gavin started to walk around Dust town for a bit. He looked around and smiled as he saw people and pokemon. He then came up to a building that read "POKEMON LAP" over the door. He smiled and said to himself "So this is where i begin." He felt very confident and went and opened the door and walked in. He walked up to the desk and said "Im Gavin Connors and im looking for my pokemon so i can start my journey on becoming a pokemon breeder." He said very confidently and waiting for a response.

Gavin listened as the Professor talked about the pokemon. Gavin nodded and looked at the mystery balls. "Well since i can only have one of the mystery balls, ill take one of those, as well as this Larvitar." Gavin smiled and went and patted the Larvitar on the back of the head and then went over and grabbed one of the mystery balls and threw it to see what was inside of it.

As soon as he'd arrived at Dust Town, Gear immediately ran to the first building he found and charged in, hoping it was the local pokemon lab. Unfortunately, he broke into the homes of three different families before he finally found the lab. "Okay, I'm sure I'm right this time, gear!" he said as he shoved the door open and ran in, oblivious to the other trainer inside. "Hi hi! I'm here to get my first pokemon!" he said cheerfully to the professor.

The Larvitar sighed, not really wanting to get up to meet her new trainer. She yawned widely and simply stared at her trainer, waiting for him to pick her up.  Pokemon Name: Larvitar Gender: Female Pokemon Personality: Lazy, No-nonsense, Bitter Pokemon Ability: Sand Veil Pokemon Health: 26 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Bite, Leer, Thrash The Mystery ball burst open and a large pink form materialized from the light. It stared blankly at his trainer, long tongue lolling from its mouth. "Lickii!" was all it said.  Pokemon Name: Lickitung Gender: Male Pokemon Personality: Oblivious, Affectionate, Easily confused Pokemon Ability: Oblivious Pokemon Health: 25 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Lick, Supersonic, Stomp Professor Conifer smiled at the two Pokemon in front of Gavin, then turned to gear. "You're a coordinator, correct? You are to choose two pokemon this year. You may pick from the remaining pokemon and mystery balls. Only one mystery ball though." |

"Okay Proco!" Gear said cheerfully, looking at each of the pokemon on the table. "Can I have this Trapinch?" he asked, pointing to the Trapinch and taking a mystery ball at the same time. "Come out new friend!" he said tossing the mystery ball.

The Trapinch clicked happily at his new trainer. They would be great friends! He was so excited for the adventure ahead! The Numel looked up at her trainer and whined pitifully. She was so hungry! "Nuuuumelll!" Feeeed meeee! Pokemon Name: Numel Gender: Female Pokemon Personality: Whiny, Dramatic, Glutton Pokemon Ability: Oblivious Pokemon Health: 25 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Magnitude, Lava Plume, Flame Burst, Take Down After the Pokemon were distributed, Professor Conifer starting setting out some gear. She looked to the new trainers with a smile on her face. "Each of you should take a Pokedex, a bag, and a box of items. Breeders are not allowed to take Pokeballs." "Yay!" Gear said cheerfully as his new Trapinch came to him, though the Numel remained where she was out of hunger. "Hi new friend! I'll call you Snippy!" he announced happily and turned to the Numel. "And I'll call you Cammie!" "Nu~mel!" Hun~gry! Cammie whined, not out of dislike for the name, but from hunger. "Let's go!" Gear said, scooping up Cammie and running out of the lab, with Snippy following close behind. He rushed back in a few seconds later. "Heh heh heh...I forgot my things," he said embarrassed, running past the table and taking a bag, pokedex and supplies on his way out. |
