Sander had nothing to do anymore, because his opponent was defeated and he had no pokeballs to catch it yet, so he watched as Allie continued battling the Pichu. She hit one more attack, almost making the pokemon faint. She threw a pokeball, and while it was rocking back and forth by the pichu trying to get out of it, Sander looked to Allie and Delilah, both nevously waiting for the pokeball to stop moving... Then it stopped and the little red light on the ball's button dimmed. "Congrats on your first caught pokemon, Allie! I like the name! Maybe you could let it out of it's pokeball to meet our other pokemon!" Sander said, smiling.

"Thanks Sander" Allie giggled, holding the purple pokeball in utter joy. At first she tilted her head and wondered if the Pichu would be too weak to come out, but then she remembered something and nodded, pressing the pokeball's button. In an instant Levi was standing before them, his balance a little wobbly. His excited behavior from earlier still hadn't left him, though, and soon he was bouncing around after Delilah, who had hid behind Allie's leg. The girl bent down and offered him an Oran berry, to which he gobbled up. "Pichu!"
Allie smiled and watched as he scooted over to Sander's pokemon, tilting his head curiously. "It's getting kind of late. Think we should make camp now or travel a little longer?"

"Too bad I need to wait for catching pokemon... But I'll have my chances later!" Sander said. Silas and Azure were on the ground, whispering to eachother, and Silas began to blush a bit. Sander saw it and asked why he was blushing, but answered "N-nothing... It's getting a bit dark, so why don't we go to sleep and go looking for the next town tomorrow? We can make a fire to keep us warm at night!". Azure jumped up Sander's left shoulder and began to sleep. Probably because she was tired of the battle.
"Yeah that could be a good idea, Silas... What do you think, Allie?" Sander asked, but Allie already let Levi out of his pokeball to let him play with Delilah, Silas, Azure and Ty.

"Yep, you'll have your chance soon enough. After finding the Breeding Centers and getting an egg, that is" she smiled, rocking back and forth on her feet a bit. Levi was busy goofing off with Ty and Delilah to notice Azure and Silas, but that didn't mean Allie didn't see what was going on. She tilted her head curiously, but didn't really say anything in fear of interrupting their conversation. Whatever it was really had the Larvitar stirred. Of course she started fiddling with a 'hangnail' when Sander started talking to her.
"Of course. I did just say the same thing pretty much." Motioning for her little group to follow, they walked until a small clearing appeared ahead, Allie stopping and throwing her bag down.
"This looks good to me, doesn't it you?" she asked, immediately starting to fiddle with this and that to try and prepare some sort of meal for the lot of them. She wasn't sure what all Sander had, but maybe together they could form something at least decently edible? Meanwhile, the coordinator set to talking again. "Are you worried about passing your Breeder's Test? I need to start practicing contest moves for the next road..."

"Hm. Maybe I'm a bit nervous about passing the test, but I'm more worried about my family in Sinnoh... I didn't hear them yet after I arrived here in Varaia... But I'm pretty sure they'll be fine. It's the first time I go to a far-from-home place, in Sinnoh I could always use my Staraptor to fly to my hometown every once in a while. Anyway, I'm gonna get some firewood. Silas, you coming?" Sander said after he carefully laid Azure on the ground, pulling out a blanket from his bag and laying it over the sleeping pokemon.
"By the way, do you know already who of your pokemon you're gonna use in the contest? And which moves? I'm interested! You can think about it and tell me when I'm back with the wood. I'll be back soon!" Sander said as he walked off towards some trees around the clearing.

Sinnoh? Staraptor? Allie blinked to herself in confusion. "You... used to be a trainer before now? So you started all over... that must have taken a lot of courage, to come to a completely new region without any friends or pokemon and start anew." Shuffling her feet, the girl sort of looked down. When had she ever done something monumental like that? ..Oh, that's right. She was starting her journey now as a coordinator, and was practically by herself aside from her pokemon and Sander.
Although that thought put her in a good mood, the boy's sudden question and then leave right after that threw her off. "Ohh... I still haven't thought of that. Um... well, maybe when Ty learns a water move, we could use that and Levi's Thundershock... and then there's Delilah too. I'm just not sure yet!" she told herself, assembling a pot and shifting to the edge of the forest line to listen for a creek nearby. Ty followed her, paw on her leg to make sure she was safe.

Sander came back from the trees with his arms full of wood for the fire, Azure woke up again and was waiting, wondering where the blanket came from. "Yes, I was a trainer in Sinnoh, and yes, I started all over. But I'm sure my pokemon are in good care with professor Rowan there..." Sander answered Allie's question, starting to make a fire with the wood he brought back.
Silas saw that Azure was awake again and they got to go look for Allie and Ty. Sander took a mat out of his bag and took the blanket from Azure and put it on top of the mat, not too far from the fire... "That's ready to sleep tonight... Do you need any help with preparing the food, Allie?" Sander asked as he saw her coming back with Azure and Silas. The two pokemon were holding eachother's hands... paws.

All she needed to do was wash her hands, really. Not gather water for any sort of spectacular stew. When she returned, happy to have had more of the pokemon as escorts, Allie fashioned a makeshift device to hold up the pot above the fire and began rummaging through her bag. Levi and Delilah, worn out from their high-speed game of tag, flomped down beside her and panted, looking in the direction where Allie had come back from the creek.
"You guys can go play in it if you want. But come back soon and make sure Ty goes with you." As she pulled out a can of beans, opened it, and dumped it into the pot, the little pokemon groaned. Ty was no fun! But they did want to cool off. Rolling his eyes, the Totodile followed the other two, leaving the coordinator to stir the meager meal.
"No, I'm alright.. but thanks for asking. This may not be the best meal, but I figured we could eat a little better in the cities we stop at. Besides, these are easy and simple, and really make these taste better afterwards." She held out her hand and revealed some Pecha berries, a little treat she'd found out near the water for after their dinner. Soon enough everything was ready and Allie divided the meal, setting out her pokemon's food when they returned so everyone could eat together. It was a quaint evening, but that didn't really bother the girl much. Ty offered to clean out the pot in the creek when everything was said and done, leaving Allie to finish the rest.
"Hopefully we'll reach Gustella tomorrow and meet some more pokemon on the way. I heard the contests this time around were focused more on double performances... and I wouldn't want to have to borrow one of yours" she yawned, letting the fire wind down to a gentle blaze before fixing her sleeping bag and settling inside. Her Totodile came back shortly after, placed the pot by her bag, and immediately curled up beside her, Levi and Delilah already snuggled under the blanket.
"Night, Sander."

That night, Sander had a bad dream... He dreamt some evil team ambushed them when they were asleep, taking all their pokemon and putting them in a glass box where they could see, but not hear their trainers. The most evil deed... Letting pokemon see how they are carried away from their rightful trainers. The evil men laughed, then ran away with the box...
The next morning, Sander woke up, panting of the dream he just had... He quickly looked around and luckily saw Silas and Azure playing a game of tag. Seems they were awake some time already, but wanted to let their trainer sleep. Sander began packing up all his stuff, got to the river to get some water to cool of the remains of the fire, he didn't want the forest to burn down... Allie, Ty and Delilah were still asleep, but the energetic Pichu was already awake, but still drowsy. He putted some pokemon food in a bowl in front of the the Pichu, and called for Azure and Silas, who were playing a game of hide-and-seek this time... They both came out of the bushes, realizing too late they just revealed their hiding places... Sander took some of the apples hanging on the trees to eat himself, and took some for the coordinator too, although she was still asleep...
Soon, the pokemon ate up the food in the bowl and Levi joined a new game of tag.

"Nero... Nero! Come back here!"
The Growlithe paused, pawing at the ground and bouncing before the Puppy Pokemon shoved his nose down into the dirt and snuffled once more. He chased in a small circle, gave a growling bark, then raced off once more after something he had obviously caught the scent of and wanted to see. Chelia was racing after him with Nina in her arms, trying to keep from jostling the kit-like pokemon, and behind her came running her brother.
"Nero, what are you doing?" Chelia called as the Growlithe ran back, danced around her feet, nearly tripping her as he butted into her calves to encourage her forward, and then bounded forward once more, dashing through some underbrush towards the sound of the other Pokemon playing. Chelia and Tsayal reached the bush that Nero had dove through at the same time and were trying to catch their breath as they saw what Nero had come across as he pranced on the outskirts of the game, wagging his tail excitedly and bouncing about.
"Grrrrrow! Grrrrrow!"
"Are those wild pokemon?" Tsayal asked, looking and sounding excited as his fingers itched towards the pouch where he had his pokeballs.
"No... look." Chelia said as she grabbed his hand to stop him and pointed to the camp that Tsayal had completely missed in his eagerness to try to catch his first pokemon (since, after all, Amadeus wasn't technically his first "caught" pokemon). "Hello?!" Chellia continued, raising her voice to be heard. "I'm sorry if we're bothering you, but is there any way around these bushes so I can get to my Nero?" She added.

Sander almost choked in a piece of the apple he was eating when he heard Tsayal's voice, froze and tought uncontrollable about his nightmare... He slowly turned his head to where the voice came from and looked to their clothes... Not the same ones as in the nightmare, and they have no skull masks on. Then it'll be safe. Sander thought.
"Just go around the bushes, the entrance is there!" Sander pointed almost to the other side of the clearing. "I'll try to wake Allie up, she's asleep for long enough now, we have to get to Gustella town." He added.
He watched the two persons going to the entrance of the clearing, then turned around and tried to wake up Allie, while looking to the Growlithe, smiled and said "So you're Nero eh? Nice to meet you!". He looked back to Allie and said "C'mon Allie, will you wake up now? There are other trainers here. Or at least I think they are Trainers.

Had she really been sleeping that long? Allie couldn't say, since she'd tossed and turned during the night, but what she did know that there were little paws running across her sleeping bag all morning and there was a new array of voices at the campsite. Jerking upwards in shock, the girl blinked several times, unaware that her hair was sticking up at odd angles. Delilah had been out from under the bag for quite a while, but Ty woke at the same time his trainer did, jawning to display his impressive set of teeth. Totodile wasn't the big jaw pokemon for nothing!
"Who... who are t-they?" she asked Sander timidly, pulling the fabric to her chin as if she needed to hide herself from the strangers. He'd mentioned trainers, she believed? Or painters. Probably the first one. She didn't notice the hyper Growlithe until later, and even though Ty growled at the newcomer, he made her feel more relaxed. Someone with pokemon could be her friend, right? Especially since Sander didn't seem so alarmed...
Combing her fingers through her hair, she smiled apologetically at the pair. "S-Sorry, I'm just nervous. I'm Allie, and I'm hoping to become a well-known coordinator one day. You two are..?"

Tsayal and Chelia followed the boy's pointed finger to the entrance and they nodded, making their way around the bushes as Sander made his attempts to wake up the girl named Allie. "They're going to Gustella too. Do you think maybe they'll let us walk with them? Mom said that we should travel with more people if we could." Chelia commented thoughtfully as she set Nina down. The graceful little foxlike Pokemon flicked her tails in disapproval at the roughness of the game and then trotted alongside her trainer.
Growlithe, meanwhile, at being adressed, did his little growling bark sound and pranced around in a circle before bounding over to Sander, giving the boy's cheek a slobbery lick of greeting before he noticed his own trainer. "Grow grow!" And with a bounding leap, the tiger-striped puppy made his way to the girl and, knocking into the backs of her calves, made her drop to her bottom once more so he could clean her face effectively.
Since Chelia was otherwise engaged in an activity, Tsayal didn't answer her question and decided it best to introduce them instead. "My name is Tsayal, and I'm heading to Gustella to try my hand at the gym badge. This is my sister, Chelia, and she'll be looking for the breeding center while we're there." He said, motioning between him and his sister to indicate the pair of them in case the two didn't like the implication that Chelia and Tsayal wanted to join the group.

Sander called his pokemon's names because he wanted them to meet the new people they met. Silas and Azure did a race against each other to see who of the two was the fastest... Sander learned this way that Silas was a bad loser.
"I'm Sander, and this are Silas and Azure, my two starter pokemon, and I'm a breeder, nice to meet you two!" He introduced himself and his pokemon to Tsayal and Chelia.

Ty stared hard at the Growlithe, watching him as he ran about like a Doduo with its heads cut off, throwing his slobber everywhere before tackling his trainer and doing the same to her. He meant no harm, but.. the Totodile wasn't very fond of him at all. Crossing his chubby arms, the blue pokemon huffed and stood before Allie, ready to fend the puppy away in case he came towards her. The girl simply scooped up her pokemon in her arms, holding him like some sort of stuffed animal as she stood to properly greet the newcomers.
"Welcome, Tsayal and Chelia" she said, her voice relatively low and quiet. "Sander and I are traveling to Gustella too.." glancing over at her friend, she shrugged and looked back to the new pair. "If you two would like to travel with us, I... I t-think that would be ok. Oh! And these are my pokemon. Ty here, and my Buneary and Pichu. They go by Delilah and Levi. You two have some cute ones as well."
Placing the Totodile on the ground, Allie then turned and began to gather her things, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she rolled up her sleeping bag. "I-I'm not trying to be rude, but I do need to get my stuff packed so we can head out soon... my pokemon are getting restless."
