The sky stretched out for miles in front of Skyler, as she stood with the wind at her back in the middle of a vast field. The air was so wonderful and clean here. The grass waved against her knees, pressed against the landscape when the wind picked up. Skyler was practically being blown away by the swift gusts, but Knave was unmoved by anything, rooted motionless in one spot. He sure was a sturdy one, that's for sure.
"Welp, I guess we better get some practice in eh?" she asked him, trying to peer into the tall grass. Yeah right.
"Ni!" the little guy responded with a small nod. Awfully serious fellow.
And so the two walked in a circle. And then they walked in a square. And then they stopped for a snack. Then they made another bigger circle. And a squiggle that looped back.
"MY GOD WHERE IS EVERYTHING??" Skyler bellowed into the sky.
Not a darn thing replied.
"Welp, I guess we better get some practice in eh?" she asked him, trying to peer into the tall grass. Yeah right.
