Angelle set out on Route 801 with her two Pokemon. She still wasn't sure about her Electrike she dubbed Streak. She hoped he'd grow on her though. And who knew, time could do anything. He looked up at her, seeming to guess her thoughts yet again and growled. She hated when he did that. Maybe she wouldn't learn to love him after all. "Oh, come on," she told him. "Let's hurry and go and catch something else so I can be rid of you." He growled at her again and she rolled her eyes. "Well, at least I still have Carve. He's actually a good partner," she taunted the Electrike. That earned her a nip at her ankles. "Stupid dog," she said, resisting the urge to kick him.
With that, she threw Carve's Pokeball, letting him out for some fresh air. The Druddigon shook himself off. "Come on Carve, at least you can provide some real company to this dirty little sneak," she told him. Carve looked at his little green and yellow team mate, then back at his trainer.
"Perhaps if you were a bit nicer to him, he'd be nicer to you?" he suggested. Angelle snorted. "I'll be nice when he stops being a prick," she replied to her talking Pokemon. "Well, come on you two. Better start training you guys to be stronger. You'll need it. Yes, even you Carve," she added to the Druddigon's indignant look. "There are Pokemon out there that are a lot stronger than you, we need you to be able to beat them. And perhaps if our friend here proves himself in a couple of battles, he can stay with us as well," she said. Carve just shook his head. He knew how his trainer was and she was actually very kind to her Pokemon. At least she was to him. But poor Streak didn't seem to understand. She was just mad she didn't get something more rare and strong, like a dragon type.
"I'll let Streak go up first then," he said. "I'm feeling a bit lazy at the moment." His trainer sighed, exasperated with him, he knew, but perhaps if she battled a bit with Streak, she would learn to love him faster. He could sense the tiny puppy Pokemon's power.

Alan walked onto the route, his hands in his pockets, and just looked at everything around him. It was pretty much the same as he came down to reach Dust Town with whatever that trainer's name was. Big whoop. He just enjoyed being outside of the town and away from any humans that might want to talk to him. He was really only comfortable with Pokemon. Other trainers left a bad taste in his mouth and he almost didn't choose to be a trainer. He only did it because well his goals would be served best if he did. Coordinators wouldn't get him what he needed. Breeders were much more boring.
And Racers, he wasn't going to lie about his feelings about them. He did find that sort of thing to be his cup of tea. Yet, he chose the path of a trainer because of his goals. He enjoyed the daylight hours the most. He kept his eyes peeled for any Pokemon along the way. He would need his first Pokemon to be stronger before they reached the next town or city. Each footstep retraced the steps that he had made before.

Thank goodness you came to your senses. Honestly, what fool would ever want to live on water? Moltres said to Amy as the two of them flew through the sky.
"We're going back there eventually. I just thought I'd come back to see how my parents are doing," Amy said with a sigh as Moltres began to pull down to land on Route 801. Down below, she saw two other trainers walking along and decided to see if she could join them.

Angelle looked over to see the boy from the lab traveling the same direction as she was. It was quite annoying really. She felt like they were traveling together. She didn't like that. Carve seemed to guess his trainer was getting aggravated and sighed. "You know, you can't let every little thing aggravate you forever," he said. "Seriously, you're acting like you're in heat or something. Is that what you humans call it? Being in heat?" he asked.
Angelle almost knocked Carve to the ground when she hit him. "You're not allowed to talk about that!" she said, then stalked off. Streak, who normally hated his trainer and growled at her, let out a little barking laugh. Carve himself couldn't help but laugh as well.
As she stomped away from her annoying Pokemon, a shadow fell over Angelle. She stopped and looked up. And couldn't believe her eyes. Was she really seeing a Moltres? "Carve!" she called. He understood and flashed his claws, ready to do battle. Then Angelle noticed a trainer on the back of the Moltres. "Oh, nevermind," she said disappointedly. Carve dropped his battle stance and watched as the giant fire bird Pokemon and trainer landed.

Alan stopped almost immediately as he saw a Mol'tres. He grew a bit excited at seeing that fire legendary but his quick eyes noticed the trainer on top of its back. He was jealous of other flying around to get by. He had hardly paid attention to the girl who he had seen back in the lab.
She was going in the same direction so far as he was. She was apparently having a conversation with her Pokemon but he didn't hear it yet. Well, whatever. If she wanted to slow down or called out to him then maybe he would say something. He was still amazed by that legendary bird.
"Amazing. To think, I was counting myself unlucky and now I see one of the bird legendary trio, Mol'tres" he said quietly just staring at the trainer and the bird. He didn't move from his spot.

"Um...Hi," Amy said nervously as she climbed off of her Moltres, a pink ball hopping off as well and rolling after her.
"Iggly, Iggly!" the small Igglybuff said as she looked over the two newcomers. Twirling a stick she'd found around her...arm-stub, she brought it to her mouth to begin singing. "IgGlYbUfF! IgG~lY!" she sang cheerfully, though it was more like shouting. Horrible, loud shouting.
Would someone PLEASE shut that child up? Moltres asked as Igglybuff glared at the legendary.
"Igglybuff sweetie, we talked about this. Your singing is, well...unique. You have to save it for people who can really appreciate it," Amy said, apparently satisfying the Pokemon, who began waving the stick around her head happily.
"Um...Sorry about that. She likes singing and I don't really want to destroy her dreams," Amy said with a sigh. "Let's start over. I'm Amy. Who are you guys?"

"You don't have to do it, I will," Carve said. Angelle glared at him. "Unless you want to take on that Moltres, I suggest you don't," she told him. He sighed and nodded.
Angelle watched the Moltres a bit more. She was very envious of this girl who owned the legendary bird. "I'm Angelle," she said, not taking her eyes off the bird. She then heard some other mumblings and finally took her eyes off the bird to see the boy who had been in the lab with her. Oh, so he did talk. "What was that?" she asked him, a bit aggravated with his mumbling.
Streak, coming up near Angelle and Carve watched the bird and the other trainer as well, only he growled at them the entire time. "Would you shut up?" Angelle asked, rolling her eyes at him. This earned her a nice, deep, threatening growl as well. She took his Pokeball and recalled him to it without even looking at him. "Dumb dog. Doesn't like anyone or anything," she said.
"So he's like his trainer in that aspect then?" Carve remarked. "Oh you shut it too before you go back in your Pokeball as well," Angelle told him. Carve's nagging at her attitude only made her have an even bigger attitude. It was annoying.

“I’m Alan” he said shortly.
He didn’t really pay much attention to the other girl, Angelle. He didn’t need to pay attention to rude people. He would wait and ignore her for the time being. Amy on the other end seemed to be pretty decent. He eyed the Igglybuff for a moment as Amy had mentioned it before looking over at the Mol’tres. He took his time, he liked seeing this legendary, and it was something that he just liked to see. He counted in his mind as he thought about what to do. Angelle didn’t deserve him paying attention to her. But should he ignore her? He had to pay attention sometime. He kicked the dirt on the path as he thought about this.
“It’s none of your business about what I say or do” he said coldly to Angelle. He hated doing that but it was the only way that he could stand up for himself. He was back to looking at Amy.
“So, how long have you had that Mol’tres?” he asked her sternly.
He wanted to know how this trainer had gotten this legendary but first off, just a period of time would do, and he was curious. Not that he would show that off that he was to anyone.

"She's been with me for about a week actually," Amy told Alan as Igglybuff hopped into her bag and settled in snuggly. By now, she was used to people asking questions about her Moltres. After all, it wasn't every day that you met someone with a legendary Pokemon.
"Um...Are you guys heading towards Torrentia? I kind of got lost coming back here and maybe I could travel with you to get there," the breeder asked nervously.

Angelle rolled her eyes and then narrowed them at the boy. "You're right, it is none of my business and I just don't care enough anyways," she said, aggravated. Carve cleared his throat, a warning to her that she should be nicer. She ignored him.
The girl only had the Moltres for a week? That was interesting. And it already seemed like the two were best friends. Angelle was a bit jealous. Not even she and Carve had a relationship like that. She glanced at her Dragon Pokemon. The two were great friends and cared about each other, but they fought like brother and sister.
"I'm headed wherever there's a Pokemon gym," Angelle said. "So since Torrentia has one, yes," she added.

Alan didn’t pay much attention to Angelle. He was interested at how she was friends so quickly with Mol’tres. It was only a week since she had that legendary bird. He didn’t really feel anything about seeing how close the two were. Her question and then her proposition caught him off guard. Did he dare travel with others? He raised his shoulders as he sighed and then let them dropped. He didn’t care one way or another. He didn’t care about the rude girl’s Pokemon either. It wasn’t his business.
“Well, Torrentia is on the path that I’m going for. It does have a gym like Angelle has but Gustella is my first stop. Torrentia is after that. You could travel with the two of us. So, my answer is yes” he said coolly.
Alan thought about something for a moment and quickly caught something else that Amy had said.
“We’re not actually traveling as a group. We’re just going in the same direction” he said correcting her. “We might be a group later but not yet.”
He was about ready to just move on.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought the two of you already knew each other," Amy said with a smile, happy to have someone to travel with for the moment. "So, the two of you are trainers? I've never really traveled with any trainers before."
"Iggly!" I'm hungry! Igglybuff called from inside Amy's bag, digging through all the different things inside of it in search of food.
"Sweetie, you already ate a while ago. You'll give yourself a stomachache," Amy said, pulling the struggling Pokemon out of her bag.

"And I kind of wish we weren't even going in the same direction," Angelle muttered, rolling her eyes. She turned to the girl. "I'm a trainer, yes," she said. "What class are you?" She guessed the girl was a breeder from the way she treated her Igglybuff like that.
"How can you tell what it's saying?" she asked. She generally had to get Carve to translate her other two Pokemon for her. She didn't know how the other girl could just know like that. She had no idea what her other Pokemon said. Carve was the only one she understood and well, only because he could talk. Though sometimes she wished he couldn't.

Alan didn't really need to think about it much to even answer that.
"Trainer, yes" he said quickly. He kicked his foot against the dirt a few times as he waited. He hoped that this whole question and answer thing would be done soon. He didn't have all that much time to waste. He was a bit curious of what Amy chose to follow. He was lso curious at how she could understand that other Pokemon.

"I'm a breeder actually. And I can't really understand what she's saying. I've been with her for a few days and she digs through there like that when she's hungry," Amy explained, holding onto Igglybuff tightly to keep her from wiggling her way free.
"Igglybuff!" Let me go! the pink Pokemon said as she struggled to get out.
