It is not real politeness, but an act put on by her so as not to make too many enemies too fast. She doesn't care about anyone but herself and her own. She is not trusting at all and will take everything you say into consideration and weigh it carefully before processing it, but that does not mean she believes it. Angelle is quick tempered and gets annoyed easily, specifically when it involves people who think they know better than she does. She tends to be quiet, not saying much unless it needs to be said. History: Angelle grew up to live a very sheltered life. Not because of any fault of her parents. They wanted her to be more outgoing and into things. Angelle, however, wanted to stay indoors, preferring to spend most of her time in her room playing with her Pokemon figurines. She was a very shy, quiet child, choosing not to speak to many people, if any at all. Her parents tried everything to bring her out of her shell, but nothing worked. She remained introverted and shy.
By the time she was five years old, she knew she wanted to become a Pokemon trainer. She would pretend all the time that her Pokemon figurines were real and send them off into battle, and at night, she would dream about it. She never really got to live the dream once she turned ten, though. She began to second guess herself, wonder if becoming a Pokemon trainer was really what she wanted to do. Her interests began changing and she soon got into music. She took piano lessons and became quite good on it. She actually became quite famous on the piano and even toured around as a keyboardist with a band for a while, but she always felt like something was missing. Finally, after yet another band fight, her band broke up and Angelle turned her thoughts back to becoming a Pokemon trainer. She decided she may as well try it, so she set off for Varaia, to Dust Town to collect her first Pokemon from the lab she'd heard was there.
