Over the Nonexistent Rainbow

[Lucas Heart]

Lucas was pleased with how Ruby battled but he needed his team to grow strong together so he called her back but not with the pokeball just asked her to step back as he tossed out Thunder his Mareep. He was the one that had a perfect match and now he was going to get in there and show this Mime Jr who was boss.

"Alrighty buddy use a Thunder Shock right off the bat." Lucas yelled as the sheeps fur came to life sending a bolt towards the psychic pokemon.

[RESULT: 2]

The blast didn't do much damage but it was a decent start the two were not worried one bit.

[Spirit Hope]

The Next Pokemon that was randomly sent out by Tania was a Smoochum. Spirit grabbed out one of her Pokeballs and sent out Shiloh. Shiloh looked around the area somewhat confused, that is till his eyes laid on the Smoochum. Shiloh suddenly jumped in surprised and ran to Spirit's side.

"Oh please Shiloh, its ok, your the only one who can do this battle, please?" Shiloh nodded, still shaking and inched his way over to the Smoochum. "Ok, Shiloh, use Ember!"

[RESULT: 0] +1

Shiloh hesitated a little and shot out a weak, small ember at the psychic ice type. It had done little however.

Mime Jr. Shook off the electrical shock and puffed out his cheeks a little, teasingly. "Mime Jr. focus. Use Confusion." Nicolas called out to his clown of a Pokemon, sighing a little bit at the playfully teasing Pokemon.

[RESULT: 7]

Laughing a little, the mime began to use his psychic powers on the mime. Dealing great damage towards Thunder. It was obvious that the attack did not only just confuse the sheep as Thunder began swaying a little. As the name implied, Mime Jr.'s attack confused Thunder!

[Lucas Heart]

Thunder fell to the ground, this sucked now he was confused and clumsy that was not a good mix. "Hang in there thunder try and get it with your iron tail." Lucas yelled, shaking its head a bit it charged forward trying to hit the laughing mime.

[RESULT: 1]

Well at least it was a hit to the enemy not ones self. The tail glowed but Thunders charge was off and missed its mark by a lot only scratching the little pokemon.

"You want to play with fire, well take a bite out of this use pound." The trainer stated as the little female pokemon charged forward.

[RESULT: 9]

The small fist did massive damage to the fire bug pokemon named Shiloh. Smoochum walked away holding her head high as if she knew she was better then him, however this left her wide open.

[Spirit]

Shiloh squeaked with pain as he was punched harshly by the Smoochum, he wanted to run back to his trainer at that very second that he was hit. He didn't like being hurt and it didn't help that the hit had done so much damage. "Don't give up yet Shiloh, use another Ember!"

[RESULT: 2]+1

Shiloh squeaked a little again he coughed out some more embers which burned the Smoochum's skin. He did one want to be there one bit.

Mime Jr. shook off the attack again as if it was nothing and continued to tease the sheep and his trainer in ever way he could, laughing and making funny faces. "Mime Jr. Use Double slap!"

[RESULT: 9]

Mime Jr. Spun over to the confused sheep and began slapping him like crazy, dealing massive damage towards Thunder. Mime Jr. Laughed some more and looked at Lucas's and gave him a sad, pouty face before laughing again, pointing at Lucas.

[Lucas Heart]

Thunder was hit hard yet again it didn't look like he was going to make it. "come on bud, you have been through worse, get in there and try to give it your all. The sheep shot off another bolt of electricity using Thunder Shock.

So much for this battle, the bolt seemed to go nowhere and slam down into Thunders body causing him to let out a bah of pain.

Smoochum glared as the attack did some damage but not a lot as it charged back in for yet another pound, this time she wouldn't let him have a opening.

[RESULT: 3]

The pound was of little effect but damage was damage as the yellow haired pokemon hoped back getting in a defensive mode.

[Spirit Hope]

Shiloh continued squeaking from the pain that the Smoochum kept doing, he didn't like being punched and he still wanted to run away from the pain, but he couldn't do that to his trainer! As if trying to tell the Smoochum to go away, Shiloh released more embers at the enemy Pokemon.

[RESULT: 0] +1

However the attack continued to do little damage, despite being strong against ice type Pokemon.

Mime Jr. Laughed as the Mareep attacked himself, this was just too funny to the mime, feeling confident, the Mime Jr, Attacked with an icy wind attack because commanded.

[RESULT: 5]

The attack hit well, leaving Mime Jr still in a good mood as he continued to laugh, however Nicolas was not happy that his Pokemon was getting out of hand "Don't just go attacking randomly now, Mime Jr!"

However Nicolas watched as the Mareep went down, the attack had defeated the Sheep Pokemon! "Well then...Good job, Mime Jr."

[Lucas Heart]

Lucas fell to his knees almost unable to comprehend the fact that his mareep Thunder had just went down so easily. Shaking his head slightly he called back Thunder his eyes still glazed over slightly. Ruby didn't even give him time to decide who would go out as she was rearing to go. Shadow's rippled behind her as she released yet another Shadow Sneak.

[RESULT: 5] +1

The shadows flew forward not even bothering to come from behind slamming into the Mime Jr. Ruby was fuming still as she stood their her body glowing slightly with psychic energy.

The small pokemon laughed in sync with her trainer as she charged forward again hand glowing with energy. She was having fun pounding this poor bug into the ground.

[RESULT: 9] -sorry-

The punch was full of so much energy as it slammed into poor Shiloh. It hopped back smile from ear to ear as it seemed the two psychic pokemon were a force to be reckoned with.

[Spirit Hope]

Spirit frowned at the power of that attack. What could she do now?! She thought for a second, should she switch out? No, that won't do much good for her. Wait....Spirit suddenly looked at Shiloh, remembering one move that she didn't use too often. She looked up at the bright sun above her, the sun would be her friend in this battle, she didn't like using his move much though.

"Shiloh, there's only one thing we can do now. Use Morning sun!" Shiloh paused and looked at his trainer. Was she serious? He then turned to the sun, it shined brightly, begging him to take it's power, so he shall.

[RESULT: 4]

Shiloh began to glow in a mystic power, a power that could not be described. All the bruises that had formed from the punches began to fade away and Shiloh could feel courage run through his veins.

Mime Jr. Stopped laughing when Ruby attacked suddenly with the shadowy attack and glared. How dare she interfere with his happy time!

"Ah! Not the Ralts again! "Mime Jr. Use Double Slap!"

[RESULT: 8]

Mime Jr. Attacked swiftly and proudly, Slapping Ruby powerfully in the face, leaving a red mark in its wake.

Ruby flew through the air spinning all the while as she landed in the wet soggy ground flinging mud up into the sky. Slowly and painfully the little pokemon got up a very faint hue of pink around her as she looked up eyes with the same color as she charged forward pulling in as much shadows as she possibly could for her attack.

As she jumped into the air so did hte shadow's as she slammed it down into the face of the Mime Jr. It wasn't enough to win but it was close. Panting she hopped back getting in a defensive stance ready to try and defend against the insanely powerful Mime Jr.

Smoochum was angry now seeing all of her hard work wiped away. Charging forward she went in for yet another pound.

[RESULT: 7]

It was yet another powerful punch. These two psychics really were not holding back anything against the two trainers as each blow has been just as furious as the last.

[Spirit Hope]

Spirit was really worried for her Larvesta, Shiloh was not use to battling other Pokemon and even less use to using Morning Sun, however, Spirit knew that this would be her chance, with Shiloh's gained power, they may be able to win this match!

"Shiloh! Use Leech life!"

[RESULT: 8] +1

Shiloh felt like a new Pokemon from the power given to him from the sun. seeing his chance, he charged forward with new speed and strength. Latching on to Smoochum and began to suck the life energy out of the Psychic Pokemon.

Mime Jr. knew he was in trouble, he was nearing defeat and he would not last much longer. (Hmhmhm~ You make a good fighting partner, much better then that sheepy. Thank you~) Mime Jr. said happily in the Pokemon language.

"Mime Jr. Now is not the time for a conversation, we're still in a battle. Use Icy Wind!"

[RESULT: 6]

Mime Jr. attacked with much of the rest of his strength, just because he was near defeat, did not mean he would go out without easily.

"Come on Ruby, don't let your guard down, we have them just were we need them charge forward and use another Shadow Sneak." Lucas stated, Ruby just snorted as if she already knew what he was going to tell her and charged forward.

The attack was very weak but was just enough to win as Ruby stood there panting, she was trying to hide it but deep down she was exhausted the entire fight had drained her and she just wanted to sleep.

The life was almost completely drained from Smoochum but she was not going down quite yet. Hanging on by a thread of her life she charged forward trying to pound.

[RESULT: Miss]

There was nothing left for the poor Smoochum as she missed horribly falling into the swampy mud face first.

[Anima Everhart]

Shiloh, with his new power, noticed as the Smoochum attacked. The Psychic Pokemon was already nearly out of energy so it took absolutely nothing to avoid her attack, leaving her to fall down in a puddle of swamp mud. Spirit almost didn't have the heart to call out her next attack with the sight of the tired Pokemon in front of her and Shiloh, however she knew it must be done.

"Alright, Shiloh, lets try to finish this off with an ember attack!"

[RESULT: 9] +1=10

Shiloh let out some embers as mildly as he could, however the absorbed power he got from the sun decided otherwise as the embers flared powerfully at the Smoochum.

"Alright, come on back Smoochum!" Tania said, returning her fainted Pokemon to her Pokeball before sending out her final Pokemon along with Nicolas.

You did good Ruby, come on back." Kerum stated as the red light sucked up the pokemon and he sighed. This had went from a decent battle to a one sided massacre. But it was still a good fight, they were now down to their last pokemon each. Tossing on his last pokemon it burst out the little geared pokemon staring intently at the rock.

"Use Vicegrip." Lucas stated, he knew it wasn't as effective but he couldn't send out Ruby with Volt Switch she was far to hurt.

[RESULT: 5] -1

The attack did some damage but the tough stone was going to be hard to beat, there was nothing he could do though it was vicegrip or nothing at all. "Way to go Bolt."

[Spirit Hope]

Spirit thought about the next Pokemon she should use, who would work for this match... However before she could decide, Drinyo stepped up to the battle field. "I might be able to handle her." He said, getting ready for his match, this Pokemon was stronger than the others he fought. He will need to be careful in this battle, he could easily loose.

"Oh, ok Drinyo." Spirit smiled, to know that Drinyo was willing to fight such a strong Opponent, this battle would not be easy level wise. "Use low kick!"

[RESULT: 5]

Drinyo attacked quickly, not waiting a second. He was able to hit the moon like Pokemon decently, dealing a good amount of damage.

"Ya, you show that....What the heck is that thing suppose to be anyway...?" Xylia asked, unable to find a good word for the Lunatone.

The Solrock wouldn't have noticed the attack made by Bolt if it hadn't hit as good as it did. It barely hurt the psychic rock. "Sol..." He said quietly and calmly.

"Alright Solrock, use rock throw!" Nicolas commanded to his most prized Pokemon.

[RESULT: 1] -1

Pittying the poor klink, Solrock used his psychic powers to throw a stone at it, it was technically rock throw after all. The attack did next to nothing to Bolt. Solrock wasn't a big fan of attacking small, weak Pokemon. "Rock..."
