King took a step back. That Zen Headbutt was getting to be irritating. "Chip Away, King." Brick called out yet again. They needed to turn this battle around.

Well, it seemed King really did need some time to warm up. His attacks were getting a bit better. Maybe they really could pull this thing around.

Silencia gagged as his attack collided into her, and Diana called out to her in concern. Regaining her breath, the absol flapped her wings a few times to regain her balance.
Do not worry about me, let's keep going! Said the absol. Diana nodded once and gritted her teeth.
"Zen Headbutt again!" She commanded. The absol began to run towards King once more, determined to land a clear hit.
[RESULT: 0] Super-effective +1

It had come to this. A battle of nothing but sheer will. Diana knew that Silencia was getting tired, but she also knew the pokemon wanted nothing more than to stop Team Necro's plans. With a deep breath, Diana pumped a fist forward.
"Pursuit!" She commanded. Silencia rushed forward, raising a claw to strike King.

Nidoking doubled back, taking some serious damage. "Chip Away!" Brick called yet again. Why change what seemed to work?

As hard as Nidoking was hit, he wanted some revenge off of that. He seemed stirred into action.

Silencia yelped as King threw her back from the attack. She landed a little ways away from Diana but immediately pumped her wings to get back on her feet, growling at King.
"Soul Sever!" She commanded. Silencia reared up again and wasted no time in slamming her horn against her wings, sending the attack barreling towards King.

Brick was just going to keep the same move over and over again. The flying Absol made earth moves nearly impossible unless he could somehow ground it. "Chip Away again!" he was getting repetitive now but King understood. He often did this, going with what worked. Given the duo didn't have much choice, he completely understood.

Of course, maybe Nidoking pulled a muscle. That attack wasn't quite as strong as last time.

This wasn't looking good at all. Brick and King were always going to hold out to the bitter end, however. He remembered their last battle together before Nidoking's death. That's how he lost King the first time. It's why he joined Team Necro. His beloved Pokemon had fought in battle to the bitter end and lost everything. Though now, it was different. Now, Nidoking wouldn't suffer that fate again. He couldn't die again.
"You know what's next. Chip Away." Brick called out to King. King lashed out one last time, knowing this could be his last attack.
[RESULT: 8]
What might be his last attack was his strongest yet. Nidoking let out his might on the Absol, hitting it strong.

Silencia was exhausted, but she had to keep going. She looked at Diana with determination and didn't need to say anything to convey her feelings. Diana smiled at Silencia as she turned back to the Nidoking.
"Time to finish this, Soul Sever!" Diana commanded. Silencia reared up one last time and raised her horn, fanning her wings out and looking at Brick and Nidoking.
Take this! She screamed at them as she slammed her wings and her horn forward, sending the swirling energy beam towards King.
[RESULT: Miss]

King dodged the attack. He had to keep battling. He had to win. He wouldn't go down this easy! But...he was so tired. This Angel Absol was so tough. He hadn't faced a tough opponent like this since...since that Rhydon. "Chip Away!" Brick called out but King was already going with that attack.
[RESULT: 1]
But...Nidoking was just too tired. The attack hardly did a thing and it looked like this was the end of the line for King.

Silencia flapped her wings and climbed, dodging the attack except for a quick snag on her foot. She looked down and flipped over, diving towards King.
Go down already! I won't allow you to win! Snarled the absol as she brought her claws together to complete her Pursuit attack, not bothering to wait for Diana's call.
[RESULT: 9]

King finally went down. He fell backwards, laying on his side and unconscious. The Absol threw everything at him in that last attack and he was out cold. Brick went over to his Pokemon and knelt down by him. He placed the egg on the ground. "It's yours. You won it fair and square." was all he said. Brick may have been apart of Team Necro, but he had his honor.
He ignored the egg in favor of treating his unconscious Nidoking. It was now down to the student and this woman. He glanced over at the student. "Good luck. It's up to you." he said to her simply. If the student managed to pull this one off, he'd certainly put in a good word for her with the higher ups in Team Necro.

Clarissa nodded silently, stepping towards to woman carefully. "Understood, sir," she replied, watching her opponent carefully. "Well, you ready?" she asked. Fuyu sat at her side, having recovered from his fight. However, they would wait to see what the other trainer sent out first, before they showed their own hand. If they timed it correctly, they might be able to get in the first hit. Clarissa brought one hand down, resting it on her spare Pokéballs as it she had another Pokémon to send out.

Diana turned to Clarissa and glared, putting a hand on her absol without taking her eyes off of the student.
"Thank you so much, you did great. i know just how to end this though, so rest." Diana told Silencia. The pokemon nodded and laid down as Diana grabbed a pokeball from her side.
"You people are awful. You are murderers, destroyers. Well it's time someone put you in your place, and I know just the pokemon for the job. Diaruga, show them what it means to be a legendary pokemon!" She called, throwing the pokeball high. It burst open, and from it the large, blue dragon slammed on the ground, roaring it's might. Diana smiled as her pokemon obeyed her perfectly, getting into a defensive stance.
He knows what's at stake. He's an idiot by choice, so he can choose to be serious. Silencia said while Diana nodded in understanding.
"Bring it on. Just TRY to take my Dialga from me!" She dared them while Diaruga continued to glare.
