She stepped out of the limo, pulling her sun glasses off as she did so, tucking them on the front of her shirt. She brushed her short, white blond hair out of her eyes and waved the limo off. Soon she wouldn't need anyone else to drive her around. Soon, she'd be speeding off on the back of a super fast pokemon and then maybe she'd finally be happy. Nothing back home in Black City seemed th make her happy anymore. The cars, the boys, the money, the men. Nothing! But she'd recently been on the speeding back of a Rapidash, and she was hooked. She needed to feel that rush of energy again! And she would, one way or another.
She sauntered up to the door of the lab, her hips swaying as she did so. "This had better work, and I had better get something fast," she grumbled to herself as she stepped into the lab, glancing around. "Hello," She called out, flipping bangs out of her ice blue eyes again. "I'm Zandra Black, of the Black City Black's , and I'm here for my pokemon so I can start racing."

Unfortunately, as Zandra let herself in and began talking, the only beings to hear her words were machines and filing cabinets. Yes, the Professor was away, and... she'd left the door unlocked at that! Such a timely, safe woman was she. But never fear! Suddenly, a rush of wind came storming past Zandra, a white flash darting deep into the lab. Someone was rummaging through things and setting up what looked like a large pen... what ever could that be used for? In two shakes of a Mareep's tail, the human turned around, her hair sticking out every which way and framing a very upset Professor Conifer.
"Oh honey, I'm so sorry! I hope you weren't kept waiting long. I managed to lose track of time somehow... this never happens" she rambled, continuously apologizing as she released six pokemon from their pokeballs. "Now, let's not keep you waiting any longer." Attempting to flatten her hair and look a little more professional, Conifer faced Zandra with a radiant smile - one that caused her eyes to close upon doing so.
"Trainers and Racers may only choose one pokemon. Breeders and Coordinators may have two. Everyone is entitled to a Mystery Ball, however, may only choose one. Once you've chosen your pokemon, you cannot change your mind. Bags and Pokedexes are near the back, along with various items you'll need. Good luck." Once she finished, the released pokemon turned and looked at their new possible trainer. Bags:

If Zandra was startled, she didn't show it at all. She calmly glanced at the professor, one delicate eyebrow raised. Well, someone had been late. Zandra hated being late with a passion. She would rather be an hour early, then even a few minutes late. She tried to smooth her short blond hair down and nodded to show that she understood.
She glanced at each of the starters, quickly dismissing them. The only two that had even tempted her slightly had been the Snivvy and the Dratini. They both evolved into wonderfully beautiful pokemon, byt the lure of the mystery ball was too great.
She walked over to the three purple balls and looked at them, full lips pursed. "I think I'll pick this one," t he racer said as she picked up the first pokeball and released it.

The ball she chose opened and a light burst forth from it. The whole room was covered in the bright light. When it finally faded, the Pokemon could be heard. "Boooo" he said loudly. He walked over toward his new trainer and nudged her gently. It was pretty obvious he was a gentle giant. "Well that's that. Grab your gear and you can be on your way" the Professor said. Zandra was surprised when the huge, afro wearing Bouffalant emerged from the pokeball. She hadn't been expecting this when she picked the pokeball. Sh eyed the pokemon critically for a moment. Well, he'd be able to carry her no problem, but she wasn't too sure of how fast he would be.
She softened slightly when he nudged her arm gently. "I think I'll call you, Boo." She patted him gently on the head before picking up a black pokedex and one of the bags.
"Thank you Professor. I'll be on my way now." The blond flashed the other women a smile, slipped her glasses on and ushered Boo out of the lab so they could begin their journey together.

Den sighed as he walked through the Dusty Town, he had been dropped off only a few minutes ago by a relative of his. His annoying journey that he never even wanted to do is about to begin. He looked around the Town, it was lively at the moment, people with their Pokemon were out and about playing with each other and enjoying daily life. How sickening. The lab that would start this nightmare was now in view, he spotted as a new trainer left the lab with her new stuff. Hopefully if he's lucky, maybe she took the last Pokemon in their stock.
Den walked inside the lab and looked around before calling out to the Professor. "Hello, Professor Conifer I'm here to get my..Pokemon." Den almost struggled to say such a disgusting word, Pokemon...He could not believe he was doing this. He just could not believe it.

"Come in, come in" the Professor encouraged the newcomer. She walked with him to the back of the lab where the Pokemon and the trainer gear was. When they were at the back of the lab, she spoke up again. "Trainers and racers choose one starter. Breeders and coordinators get two starters. Breeders get a special scarf that helps with battle experience instead of pokeballs like everyone else. Then you can choose a pokedex and a bag filled with the proper items you need to start your journey and you can leave to start your adventure" she said to him.

"I see..." Den said as he looked around, even though he did hate Pokemon, the choice he made now would be stuck with him for the rest of his journey and the wrong Pokemon could make this journey even worst for him. The mystery balls offered a chance to get something rare and valuable. A powerful creature with unimaginable powers, however he could care less about their value, Pokemon are not valuable in his eyes. Another thing to realize is that there was a larger chance that he could get an annoying, useless Pokemon out of those mysterious balls. Den's eyes then laid over to six remaining choices, pitiful things, the site of these creatures filled Den with disgust...Wait...All but one that is filled him with true despise. A Magnemite?Den glared at the small metallic Pokemon. Unlike most Pokemon, Magnemite hold little resemblance to Pokemon, in truth Magnemite look like just what they are, a robot. Den can tolerate robots more then Pokemon and being his only choice in the matter, it will probably be the only, dare he say it? Partner he would be willing to choice out of these Pokemon.
Den walked over and picked up the second bag and the red pokedex then looked over at the Professor. "I have made up my mind" Den stated and looked at the Magnemite one last time. " I shall take the Magnemite."

Magnemite floated silently toward his new trainer. When he was ready to leave, the Professor simply waved and wished them good luck on their journey before they left the lab. cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/c/ca/Spr_4d_081.png[/img] Pokemon Name: Magnemite Gender: Male Pokemon Personality: Serious, Calm, Quiet Pokemon Ability: Magnet Pull Pokemon Health: 21 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Metal Sound, Tackle, Thunder Shock
