I've made my character and been accepted. What now?Now you go to Dust Town to get your starter! You're welcome to jump into one of the Lab threads that are already there, or you can simply start your own. Can I start with my own chosen pokemon, without going to the Lab?In most cases, no. The only exception is if you have obtained a 'start with your own pokemon' option by some means. I heard someone started with a Legendary?Yes! Those Mystery Pokeballs can contain quite literally anything, even Legends. I see several characters with Legends? What's going on?Varaia has a wide population of Legendary pokemon, more so than any other region. They seem to be attracted here mainly because of the Abyss, but they also come here to breed. Yes, Varaia's legends do breed, and as such they have genders as well. How are Mystery Pokemon picked?I put the national dex numbers in Random.org ( See?) and roll the numbers, and the first 3 numbers are the mystery pokemon for that rotation. If a breeder is involved, then I make new IDs for pokemon that are compatible with their known starter for breeding and roll those in Random.org. How do you determine who gets which mystery pokemon?Same way I pick the mystery pokemon. I give the trainers in that thread an ID number, roll the numbers, and then the order that Random.org picks them is the order of pokemon they get. For example, if Random.Org picked Arceus, Caterpie and Growlithe in that order, and then Me, Basile and Randomuser took the mystery pokemon, I would give us the numbers 1, 2 and 3 respectively and then roll them in random.org. Then if random.org picked Basile, me and randomuser, then Basile gets Arceus, I get Caterpie and randomuser gets Growlithe. I keep hearing about something called a Swarm. What is it?Swarms are events that happen randomly around the site. When a swarm happens, all of the usual pokemon found on the route are replaced with starters of a certain type: Fire, Water, or Grass. Currently, these swarms are the only way to find the elemental starters, other than picking one up from the Lab. Swarms last for twenty-four hours before the route's local pokemon return. Can I evolve my talking pokemon or will it lose its voice when it evolves?Yes, you CAN evolve your talking pokemon. Unlike Meowth of Team Rocket, talking pokemon in Varaia hold their own views of evolution and may not have any problems with evolving, some may even prefer it. How do we use HMs?You don't really. Yeah you can use the moves but for practical use just, use it. Actually, do you REALLY need to teach a pokemon a specific move just so it can carry/assist you? You can fly without a badge and surf and stuff, but think logically. A pidgey can't even pick up a trainer, much less take them somewhere, and you can't fly where you haven't been yet. Your pokemon doesn't even HAVE to know Fly or Surf to fly you to places or carry you on the water.
