[style=font-family: Baumans; text-align: justify; letter-spacing: 0px;][style= padding-left: 20px; padding-right:50px]The traditional approach to Pokemon interaction is also by far the most simple track here in the Varaia Region. Each of the eleven major cities have their own Gym, each specializing in their own type. While only eight badges are necessary to enter into the Pokemon League, a trainer must obtain at least one badge from each of the four chapters. Each badge comes with a TM for the victorious challenger. The final test for trainers is the Pokemon League, where they must challenge the Elite Four, and finally Champion Topaz herself. Trainer Advantages → Have the chance to start of with a Legendary. → Activate the most Battle Events. → Often have the highest level Pokemon. → Move quickly through the story chapters. → Challenges can be started at any time. Trainer Disadvantages → Start with only one Pokemon partner. → Requires the most achievements to enter the final challenge. → Pokemon have level requirements to initiate challenges. → Cannot specialize in Pokemon type. → Cannot participate in contests, breeding tests, or races. |

[style=font-family: Baumans; text-align: justify; letter-spacing: 0px;][style= padding-left: 20px; padding-right:50px]Also a familiar type of trainer, the coordinator focuses on the beauty of the pokemon. It takes quite a bit of imagination to be successful, as each contest pits members against each other to see who can create the most imaginative appeal using four attacks. The top two in each contest then battle it out against each other for a ribbon and whatever other prizes are being offered. Five ribbons are required, one from each chapter at least, to enter into the Grand Festival held within the Light of Auroras. Coordinator Advantages → Have the chance to start of with a Legendary. → Active the most Special Move Events. → Has the most opportunities to auto level. → Can participate in Contests anywhere within the chapter. → Can participate in Races when applicable. Coordinator Disadvantages → Number of starters varies. → Restricted creation to one per member. → Only one Contest is held per week. → Competition is between members. → Tend to spend the most money. |
[style=font-family: Bad Script; text-align: left; letter-spacing: 2px; color: #6E4689]The Breeder |
[style=font-family: Baumans; text-align: justify; letter-spacing: 0px;][style= padding-left: 20px; padding-right:50px]While most of the Pokemon world views breeders as nothing more than a trainer, Varaia has decided that breeders deserve a bit more recognition. Still, breeding is a difficult task, and the track is a challenging one. Each city in Varaia except for Dust Town has a breeding center somewhere within its borders, and it's up to the breeders to find them. They must then pass the test given to them by the Breeder Head of that center. Once they pass four tests, one from each chapter, and hatch the eggs given to them in reward, breeders may proceed to Paradisia in Light of Auroras and prove to the Head Breeder that they have what it takes to provide for expectant mothers and their offspring. Breeder Advantages → Always start with two Pokemon. → Activate the most Legendary Events. → Able to breed Event Pokemon after passing the final test. → Require only one cherish mark from each chapter. → Challenges can be started at any time, as can the final test. Breeder Disadvantages → Cannot start with a Legendary. → Must solve riddles to find the hidden Breeding Centers. → Can only attempt each test one time. → Cannot use pokeballs to obtain wild Pokemon. → High risk of getting turned down for Joining Team Necro |
[style=font-family: Bad Script; text-align: left; letter-spacing: 2px; color: #6E4689]The Racer |
[style=font-family: Baumans; text-align: justify; letter-spacing: 0px;][style= padding-left: 20px; padding-right:50px]The newest character track to hit Varaia, racers do exactly what it sounds like. They race pokemon. There are two different types of racing; coaching and jockeying. Coaching specializes in pokemon that are too small to carry a rider on their backs, communication happening between pokemon and racer thanks to headsets. Jockeying encompasses the rest of the pokemon, who are large and strong enough to carry a human on their backs. Jockeying holds more danger, and thus the prizes are bigger, with things like eggs up for grabs. Coaching prizes vary from items to TMs. In order to enter the Grand Prix, racers must have three medals from at least three different chapters. Racer Advantages → Have the chance to start of with a Legendary. → Widest Item pool due to prize lists. → Requires the least achievements to enter the final challenge. → Can participate in races anywhere within the chapter. → Three members earn medals each race. Racer Disadvantages → Start with only one Pokemon partner. → Races are scheduled only once a week. → Competition is between members. → Must choose to specialize in either small or large Pokemon. |
