Allie and Nick had finished their battles, and Varoon was the last one to finish. He frowned slightly at this, but perked up at an idea.
"Saving the best for last is just Varoon's style! Wintervolt Zacarian!" He commanded. Zacarian howled as he fired off his attack.

While Varoon was still wrapping up his battle, Alenai had approached Nick and began talking to him. Of course, Nick was now flustered beyond belief and turning as red as his Charmander. It was pretty hard not to overlook that Nick had a crush on this one. "I...uh...um...tha-thank you" he replied nervously. Chara, however, was enjoying the girl's attention after Nick finally managed to spit out a response. "Char! Char!" she spoke excitedly.
With Varoon defeating the leader of the pack, the Buizel, it looked like they were ready to set off again. "I think we've been delayed long enough. Torrentia City here we come" Nick said, now back to normal. He threw out a pokeball, then caught it upon it's return back. "Raaaaaay!" Jace's Rayquaza called out. Nick walked over to his Rayquaza and patted him on his head. "We'll get there pretty quick this way" Nick said, then crawled on Rayquaza's back.
Rayquaza was laying pretty low to the ground so Nick could crawl onto him. After Nick was on, he returned Chara to her pokeball. "The three of us can fit on his back. He's a sturdy fellow" Nick said. He then held out his hand and called out to Alenai "Um...need some help?"

Allie meeped in excitement as Chara danced around, giddy with cuteness overload before she looked over to Varoon and the defeated Buizel. "Oh, Varoon did fantastic as well!" she exclaimed, nodding once or twice. Ty walked over to her and cleared his throat, tapping Allie's leg to get her attention. The coordinator looked down and blinked, suddenly remembering to recall Levi back into his pokeball. The poor little guy deserved a rest, and he'd only waste more energy by being out and running all over the place.
"Torrentia? I think you'll like it there" she told her Totodile, picking him up and scratching above one of his eyes. The water pokemon nearly fainted in delight, not even noticing when she approached Nick and Rayquaza when they offered her a ride. Alenai nearly offered him her hand before a familiar screech shot through the air, and in a matter of seconds Malice had returned, smiling almost wickedly before snatching her trainer up in her arms and lashing back into the sky. "Rrrraaaaaay~" she taunted. Hah! Like she'd stand by and let HER human be carried by another Misquaza! Even though she was an unruly beast, she at least hovered above the trees, waiting on the others before darting towards Torrentia. |

Varoon smiled and pet Zacarian fondly as Nick and Allie chatted. Varoon turned around and watched them as he recalled Zacarian, and he rushed up to Nick and his Rayquaza while Xinari looked on suspiciously.
"Ooo, we're gonna fly on your Rayquaza? Why you shouldn't have! You are so wonderful, no wonder Varoon loves you so much! You and Varoon would be SUCH a perfect couple! We could ride on rayquaza all day long, and then at night, after a romantic candlelit dinner, we could take turns riding each othe---HAIR, HAIR, HAIR!" He said, yelping as Xinari took a mouthful of Varoon's hair and yanked him back on his back legs, using Confusion to help.
Nope. We are riding on this one. It goes with my new fur so well. Xinari said, adding gush on the last part as he tossed Varoon at Malice.
"Let go!" Varoon yelled as he landed. Xinari gave Varoon a mischievous look, and the furry was suddenly uncomfortable.
"Xinari, what are you planning. Xinari looked up at Malice and used his telepathy to ensure everyone would hear what he was about to say.
Malice, if you would be so kind as to help me keep my big brother under control, you can hold him and hug him while you take us to Torrentia. Oh, and ignore his screams of protest, he doesn't mean it, he really likes you. Xinari said as Varoon paled.
"MOTHER OF ARCEUS NO! NONONONONO! GET AWAY!" Varoon yelped as Xinari watched, positively pleased with himself.

Allie and Malice were still hovering above, the girl clinging to her frightened Totodile in the process as she dangled from the Misquaza's paws, eyes closed as she concentrated on not spilling her lunch. She wasn't going to fall.... she wasn't going to fall... she wasn't going to fall! Ty growled at the giant purple beast and clung to Allie as comfortingly as he could. Poor girl. She attempted to peep an eye open to see what all the fuss was about down below only to see Varoon getting yanked around by Xinari. Poor Varoon! If only she could help him...
However, it was all up to Malice to decide what would be done with the girl, and when Xinari piped up... oh, did she have a change of plans. Her red eyes went wide, and with an intreagued 'rrrrrr?', she flicked her tail around and curled it around Allie. Curious, the coordinator opened her eyes fully and froze as she was moved, the special Rayquaza plopping her down onto the other Misquaza's back before turning to look at Varoon. Reeally? She could have him? A delighted roar split from her jaws as she scooped the furry up into her arms and cuddled him, lowering herself down to the ground so his pokemon could climb aboard.
Meanwhile, Allie wobbled unsteadily on the back of Nick's pokemon, putting Ty between herself and the trainer for safety reasons before scooting up to him and clinging for dear life. "I h-hope your 'quaza has better manners than mine." |

Nick's heart began racing as Alenai was reaching for his hand. This would be it! He'd get to hold hands with her. But just as she was reaching out for his hand, her Misquaza snatched her away. Nick's hand went limp as he lowered it and the poor boy certainly felt deflated. He glanced up as Alenai was clutching to her Totodile for dear life. Poor girl, she must have been scared out of her mind!
Though, things were only going to get worse. What he didn't want to happen, did. Varoon was going to get on right next to him. He inwardly groaned and began getting irritated yet again. He clutched a fist, ready to swing. However, once again Xinari beat him to the punch and the next thing Nick knew, the strange man was flying towards the other Misquaza. He was saved yet again!
From worse, it went to...awkward. Because Alenai was now planted directly behind him. Of course she was probably still scared from the whole ordeal with her Misquaza and she began clutching to him tightly and Nick began laughing crazily as he was instantly nervous. "Ha. Ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha. Ha ha. Yeah...um...he's...totally...well behaved..." Nick was sputtering out his words as the girl was clutching onto him. Nick barely noticed there would be a Totodile squished between them.
"Rayquaza...le-let's go!" he called out nervously. "Raaaaaay!" he called out before taking off for Torrentia City.
