Selena was happy she had made the decision to go on a journey she hated doing work. Plus this seemed like fun she would find different pokemon and make them the best they could be and pass those genetics onto the next generation. She had made up her mind to pick a mystery ball and like everyone else who picks a mystery ball. She was hoping for a legend a particular one at that she wanted a shaymin cause they were so cute. she started walking from her house it took her a while to get their cause she had a habit of getting distracted by her friends she had a 20 minute stopoff at the local clothes store she looked over new dresses but she knew if she blew her savings on a dress her parents would flip their bonnets when she for some money.
she also had lunch at the local take away store before she decided to actually go and pick up her starters. when she got too the lab walked through the door and said "hello there im here for my starters please" Hopefully she would be able to meet ranny she had heard about her but had never got too see her. she then started brushing her hair cause it was a bit windy outside and her hair was somewhat messy.

Sure enough, the Professor was in, healthy and able and with nothing to get in her way as she heard someone beckoning for her. She quickly greeted the teenager by nodding and doing a sweep with her arm towards the already set up pen and starter pokemon, smiling wide. Oh no, she wasn't prepared for trainers to come see her today at all!
"Welcome! I'm Professor Conifer. You look like you want to get a move on, so I'll make haste. Trainers are only allowed one pokemon, while Breeders and Coordinators can have two. Everyone is limited to only one Mystery Ball, and once you've chosen a partner, you cannot go back. Understood? Good! Now, here they are." In one corner of the lab, Ranny the Suicune was getting some needed sleep, her ribbons still flowing behind her as she curled up in a ball to drown out the noise. |

selena was really excited when she saw all the pokemon she had a hard time picking one out so she went over in her head what they all evolved into she knew Turtwig eventually became torterra a grass ground which was really heavy, Charmander became Charizard a fire flying with some awesome moves magnemite didn't interest her the trapinch slightly intrigued her cause it evolved into a dragon type. Mudkip became swampert a water/ ground type which she could use to surf on and Chikorita which became meganium a really strong grass type. She decided something which could fly would be a great asset so she said to the professor "i would like the charmander please" she then went and got the left hand mystery ball.

Professor Conifer nodded and took a few steps back to stand beside Ranny as the Charmander rolled over towards her, and literally. The lizard rolled over to her on it's side, not daring to stand up and let his head get too much altitude. Heights are scary! Meanwhile, as her mystery ball opened, the Professor tilted her head and made a mental note as the large pink pokemon skipped merrily over to her new trainer. Not the first Lickitung she'd ever seen given away, but... that Charmander would prove to be problematic. That Lickitung was a very... well, putrid color too. How interesting. She motioned to the bags and pokedexes then, smiling at Selena. "Go ahead and choose your equipment as well, honey. Good luck!"
