April was never exactly sure what it was she was looking for. One moment, she wanted fame, and the next moment she wanted Gym badges. Though, a little while ago, she had decided she wanted to stick to Coordinating, and that would be the path of her Career in the whole Pokemon business.
So here she was in Dust Town, her head held as high as she could hold it. She wasn't so sure she could handle this Pokemon thing, but it was at least worth a shot. She dusted off her large over shirt, which was about a size too large for her, and stopped at the door to the Dust town lab.
Uttering some soft words of encouragement to herself, she pushed open the door and stumbled inside. She glanced around at the rather Pristine surroundings, her papers in hand. She was a registered Coordinator, she just needed the Pokemon to seal the deal.
"Hello? My name is April Arashi! I'm here to recieve my first Pokemon as a Coordinator!" she mentioned, hoping they would remember her mom made the appointment with them over a month ago.

Professor Conifer yawned as she walked up to April, a soft smile adorning her face. She lifted a hand in greeting and gestured for the girl to follow. "Welcome, welcome. My name is Professor Conifer, and I've been expecting you. They are back here." She said tiredly, slowly making her way towards the back room. She opened the door to reveal 6 pokemon running around happily, while a much larger, blue pokemon slept around a podium in the room, 3 pokeballs laying on top. Professor Conifer gave a high-pitched whistle and the 6 pokemon immediately lined up in front of the blue pokemon, who raised it's head. "Cune." It greeted, yawning soon afterwards. "Poor Ranny, even she is tired. Who woulda thought a Suicune could get so tired from babysitting. Now then, April right? Since you are a coordinator, you may choose two pokemon. You may choose from any of these pokemon, and you may also choose one of the mystery pokeballs if you wish. The Mystery Balls can have ANY pokemon in them including legendaries. I warn you though, the Mystery Pokeballs are permanent, and you cannot change your decision once you open it. Choose carefully." She said, moving out of the way while Ranny the suicune laid her head back down to sleep some more.        |

Looking down at Ranny, April's eyes were shining. Suicune was such a Beautiful Pokemon! Smiling at Ranny, she watched as the Six Pokemon darted to and from around the room. One caught her eye in particular. A small red and black fox Pokemon that zipped past her legs. Placing a finger to her lips, she watched the Zorua then made her choice.
"I think I'd like that Zorua as one of my first Professor. Now as for the second..." she glanced at the Podium that held the Mystery balls.
"I'd like to try my luck with a Mystery ball...I know I'll have to stick with whatever comes out, but I'm sure we'll get along!"

Zorua stuck is tongue out at the other pokemon as he ran towards his new trainer, rubbing his face on her leg affectionately while the pokeball that was tossed into the air opened up, a bright light bursting forth. The light turned into a sharp beam which landed on the ground in front of April, and it took shape slowly. It rounded out and a few spikes formed on the light, and when it faded, a tan pokemon with blue fins glared up at April, its eyes moving up and down slowly. With a snort, the pokemon turned onto its side and slammed its tail into the ground, launching the pokemon high in the air as it sailed towards April. It hit her chest and knocked her down, staying still while laying on its trainer. "You`ll do. One day I shall be beautiful, and you will help me there. I am called Feebas, but I refuse to be addressed as such. Feebas is NOT a beautiful name. I demand you give me a new name. I`m waiting, my trainer." Said the feebas, looking at April with one eye narrowed. Pokemon Name: Zorua Gender: Male Pokemon Personality: Hyper, Mischievous, Cuddly Pokemon Ability: Illusion Pokemon Health: 24 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Sucker Punch, Scratch, Leer, Pursuit  Pokemon Name: Feebas Gender: Female Pokemon Personality: Haughty, Proud, Loyal Pokemon Ability: Adaptability *talker* Pokemon Health: 26 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Splash, Brine, Mist |

April blinked, and jumped back in surprise when the Feebas Came at her. She tumbled to the floor as it fell on her, and stared up at it as it rested on her. It was evern weirder, when she started talking. She heard some Pokemon could do that...she just...never expected it to be one of hers....She pulled the Feebas off her and it bounced to stay by the Zorua. April got up, and then kneeled down near the both of them, placing one hand on the Zorua's head.
"Let's see now, you're right...names... Zorua, from now on, I'm going to be calling you Vox! And Feebas..." she thought about it for a few more moments and then decided all the same.
"Shiva...is that fine with you?" The Feebas paused, seeming to think about it before giving her an answer.
"Hmph. I suppose it will do. But you better make me beautiful. That's the deal, girly." April nodded, and then smiled. "Of course." she turned back to the Professor.
"Is there anything else I need Ma'am?" She asked politely as Vox climbed onto her shoulder. Though, Shiva took a sidewards glance at Vox.
"And you....You don't touch me! You have that? I will be even more pretty than you can imagine, and I will be more beautiful than you!" Vox rolled his eyes.
<Just hope you don't get uglier.>

April nodded and looked over at the equipment and gingerly picked up one of the bags. Reaching over, she picked out a silvery right Pokedex and pulled her things that the professor had given her together. "Thank you Professor Conifer! Shiva, Vox, come on!"
