"Ember again" Jace called out. He had to beat this grass pokemon. If it ran away or Houndour lost, Jace would just die...he was sure of it. These pokemon had been getting the better of him. Houndour followed the command.

Cottonee was struggling, and bad. He made a rookie move and took a large step away from Houndour to use Growth, hoping that maybe he would somehow be spared from the next attack so HIS next attack would be strong enough to defeat the dog for good. He was panting as he watched his opponent, most of the wild pokemon leaving at this point. Their side had proven their strength enough. It was time to go.

The end was near. Surely Houndour could finish it in this last move. "Ember again!" he cried out. Houndour responded with Ember aimed at the grass pokemon yet again.
[RESULT: 3]+1
Jace was relieved. The grass pokemon was finally vanquished.
Houndour: 13/27
Cottonee: 0/15

Indeed, the last pokemon had been slain, and at that point the rest of the wilds had already left. Nothing else to see here! However, before Jace could turn to leave, a smallish, shiny pendant came flying to him from a small group of trees. What the heck...? It actually hit him in his right shoulder before falling to the ground at his feet, a low snort sounding nearby before something took off back to the deeper forests of Gustella. Who or whatever it was had 'given' him a Mystic Water. Strange...
Obtained: Mystic Water x1

"Ow!" Jace said, a bit irritated at suddenly being blindsided by something. He turned around to look what hit him and he discovered something laying on the ground nearby. He walked over to it and picked it up. "Huh. What do we have here? Houndour, come here." he questioned as he looked at the object before finally calling to his hound. Houndour came over to him calm but alert.
Jace gave the mystic water to Houndour. "There. That should help." he said after the Houndour gladly took the mystic water. He seemed much stronger now. "Come on boy, we're heading back to base." he said, now satisfied. Houndour was now stronger and had more battle experience. It immediately benefited Jace and that was his very primary goal, of course. Though in the end, a stronger team for Jace meant a stronger Team Necro. Jace and Houndour headed back to the Team Necro base, making certain they were not followed.
