Archeops led the group into the mines, as per Mystery's request, and when they got deep enough he fluttered and landed on Amy's shoulder. He looked at her with a curt nod before turning to the group.
"Alright guys, be thankful that Mystery is so well-loved out here in Varaia. Show some decency and let's follow the rules. Get your things and start digging, but as soon as I leave, you guys leave too. Enjoy your time at the mines." He said, looking around.

"O-Okay," Amy said nervously, checking for the tenth time that her helmet was on correctly. While she did that, she saw Zorua already digging into the ground eagerly. "Zorua no! You have to wait for me!" Amy called to the fox Pokemon as she joined him, but if he heard, he just ignored her and kept on digging.
[RESULT: 4]

Jessa chuckled at Amy and Zorua. Zorua sure seemed eager to dig, as did Fido. He gave a husky bark and sniffed around the mine shaft for a little while. The young coordinator was glad Mystery had made a return..She needed to thank her for Axian. Her Squirtle was hard at work unearthing something. [RESULT: 2] Your dig yields a  Nugget! |

Walter walked at the back of the group as the Archeops lead them into the mine.
"Alright Swinub sniff us out a place to dig." Walter said following the pokemon before they started to dig at a spot it found promising.
[RESULT: 4]

"Alright Zorua, let's give this another try. Wait for me this time, okay?" Amy asked her Pokemon, who was currently sucking on one of the gems he'd uncovered happily. "I guess I can take that as a yes," she said, looking around until she found another place to dig.

Fido looked pleased as he dug up a shiny nugget of gold. Jessa smiled and patted her beloved Squirtle on the head. The pair walked over to another spot, where Jessa began to dig. She hoped she'd find something.. [RESULT: 8] Your dig yields a  Old Amber! Your time in the mine is done. |

Swinub started sniffing the ground some more and stopped soon after at a nearby spot. Walter hoped he would get something good and started digging. [RESULT: 2] Your dig yields a  Rare Bone! |

Finding yet another item was good Walter thought as he picked up the bone. Swinub started to sniff again and lead him to a differnt spot. "Swinub Swin." It said sniffing the ground as it dug. "Alright I'll try here." Walter said as he started to dig.

Archeops smiled at the group and began to flap his wings, fluttering towards the exit.
"Alright everyone we're done here. Enjoy the treasures you dug up!" He said cheerfully, leading the group out.

Jessa smiled at the burnished looking piece of rock she found. It looked like it contained a claw or something inside the golden-orange piece of rock. It was a fossil! But no one seemed to be taking her out of the mine..So she dug again in a different spot. [RESULT: 2] Your dig yields a  Comet Shard! |
