"So that's it, huh?" Aldo asked himself, looking across the field to see the cottage at the back with a sigh. He'd heard that some of the gym were closed so that the leaders could attend a meeting with the champion, but hopefully he'd manage to catch the leader here before she left. "What do you think Riolu?" he asked the small Pokemon following behind him.
"Olu!" Let's go! Riolu said cheerfully, pumping his fist in the air with excitement.
"Okay than," Aldo said with a small smile as he headed over to the cottage and knocked on the door, hoping that the gym leader would answer. After waiting for a few minutes, he raised his hand to knock again before noticing Riolu chasing after a piece of paper. "Bring it here Riolu," he called to the Pokemon, who obediently brought the paper over. Aldo turned it over to see that it was a notice saying the gym was closed. "Come on Rio. We may as well try our luck at the next town," Aldo said with a sigh, placing the paper sign back on the door and leaving the field with his Pokemon following close behind.
