Alison smiled, having finally gotten her partner and left that stuffy lab she was quite enthusiastic. Now she had a companion that she could talk to without her sociophobia taking control of her. Speaking of which, her cubone, Zephyr was walking along by her side. She absolutely refused to put him back in the ball from which he had come as he was very much like she was and would most likely become lonely.
Zephyr did his best to keep up with his partners pace, he even tried to time his steps exactly the same as she did. If for any reason what so ever it could be assumed that the ground type wanted to know where she was at all times. Perhaps it was worried it might get lost without her, or maybe it had grown attached to her in that short amount of time in which it knew her. Whatever the reason it stuck by her side like glue to a leaf.

Departing from the lab, his pokemon attained, walking behind him, though a sluggish one, Makuhita was a few steps behind. Ribs still in a bad pain from the pokemon falling on him. He didn't mind the pokemon, he was going to start talking to him, when something connected in his mind. Ahead of him, a few yards away, was the miss who was present in the room when he received his pokemon, as did she. He didn't really get the chance to talk to her, and remembered her talking about some thing, trying to pick through the stutters in her speech. What was it... sokphobia... socophobia... That's it! The realization hit him. Astounded by this rather strange fact of her, he couldn't help himself, as he picked up his pace trying to catch up with her.
Makuhita, meanwhile, took a second to register his trainer's take off, before attempting to pick up his pace a little too. If it weren't for Jens' injury, he'd be behind by a sad amount.
"Hey!" Jens shouted with a loud enough tone as he started to catch up. Finally stopping, catching his breath, clutching his rib injury, as it swelled with pain. Speaking with curiosity, he said, "Is it true... Are you really scared of socks?" No attempt at mocking or teasing in his tone, speaking it like an honest question. |

Alison turned to look at Jens and began to shake. "Uhm, n-no I have s-s-sociophobia. It means I-I-I-I'm afraid of pe-people." she explained. She turned away in an instant and locked eyes with Zephyr who was hugging her right leg in an attempt to calm his trainer down. She smiled and for a moment it looked as though her shaking had stopped but started right back up again no more than a few seconds later. "It's r-really rare a-and I-I-I don't have ma-many friends because of i-i-it." She added.
Zephyr continued to cling to Alison's leg as he sensed her shaking once more. "Bone-Cubone-Cu."He said in a gentle tone as he continued in his efforts to stop his trainer's shaking. He didn't like it one bit that his human shook like this, perhaps she was broken? It didn't matter to him however, he still cared about her and if she was broken he was going to fix her.

Tyson walked down the road a bit, with his Pawniard by his side. Pawniard was looking around making sure nothing was suspicious around his master. "Pawn.Pawniard.Ard" He said as he pointed forwards. Tyson looked and noticed that it was the other two people who were back at the lab. He smirked a bit and started to walk towards them. Pawniard followed Tyson and stayed right by his side the entire time.
"Sup, people?" Tyson said as he joined the other two from the lab. "Seems we're all pokemon trainers, and that we're all goin in the sam direction. Might as well travel together, so it doesnt get boring, huh?" He said looking at the girl and then the guy. "By the way, the names Tyson." He put his hand out for the guy to shake. After then did the same for the girl. "So what do you guys say, care to travel together?" He waited for a response. As Pawniard stood at his side, and looked back and fourth at the Cubone and the Makuhita.

Alison's eyes widened when she saw Tyson, she thought he would be further ahead of her by now. She watched as he held out his hand for Jens to shake and then did the same for her. She gingerly reached out and shook his hand, shaking a little as she did so. "M-my name is A-Alison, and this is Zephyr." Alison said prying the ground type pokemon from her leg and holding him up for Tyson to see. Zephyr smiled happily at Tyson "Cubone Cubone Bone Cu." it said. Alison then put Zephyr back on the ground "W-well I guess you c-can t-t-travel with u-u-us. She managed to stutter.

While the girl went through her explanation, the man appearing wishing to travel, his main attention was caught by realizing how far behind his Makuhita had fallen behind, watching him slowly catch up with the group.
As the man offered his hand, he returned the shake, "Jens." He introduced himself, then looked to his pokemon who finally caught up, "And this guy... Haven't named him yet." He said calmly, petting him. He observed his body features, pondering names, before saying, "I'll call him Fist-Dude." Coming upon this idea when looking at the large hands that remained balled in fists. "Sorry for leaving you behind Fist-Dude." He smiled to the pokemon, who returned the light smile.
"So I'm up for travelling!" He said optimistically, doubting anything could go wrong. He was more cautious of these wild pokemon attacks he's heard of, wondering how well a newbie pokemon and trainer would actually fend against them. |

Tyson smiled as both of the other people agreed to travel with him. "This will be a great adventure." He said as he looked down at his Pawniard and smiled at him. The Pawniard smiled back at him and looked at the Makuhita and then the Cubone again. Tyson looked at the Cubone and then the Makuhita as well and smiled a bit. "I think we all got some good pokemon while we were all at the lab." He smiled.
Tyson then petted Pawniard on the back of the head, making sure not to hit the blade on his forehead. "So lets start this journey shall we?" He said as he smiled. He then turned and started to walk down the road, with Pawniard right by his side. After a little bit of walkin, he turned around to make sure that the other two were still comeing as well.

Alison and Zephyr looked at Jens for a moment before hurriedly following after Tyson neither one wanting to get separated from the group. Reaching down as quickly as she could Alison managed to catch Zephyr in mid-step and place him on the top of her head. "Y-you can only d-d-do this until y--you evolve, u-u-understand?" She questioned the ground type and it nodded.
Quite personally Zephyr liked sitting on his trainer's head, he was able to get a good view of everything from up there. The cubone kept his eyes on Tyson as his partner walked forward, he hadn't yet formed an opinion of this human yet but he seemed better than the one with the Makuhita as a partner. He didn't so much dislike Jens as much as he worried for Alison. The other trainer was farm more social than she was and he could tell by the way she shook around him that she feared him quite a bit.

Tyson smiled at Alison as she followed him. He watched her put the Cubone on her head and laughed a bit. Tyson then petted the Cubone on the head and smiled at it. Tyson then continued to walk down the road with Alison and Pawniard by his side with Jens and Makuhita following behind them. "So what made you become a Trainer, Alison?" Tyson said, so the wouldnt have that awkward silence between them.
Pawniard walked besides Tyson, and kept his pace. He looked around, making sure nothing was suspicious. From time to time, it would look up at the Cubone. Tyson noticed this and smirked down at his Pawniard. Tyson then picked up his Pawniard and placed him on his shoulder. Pawniard looked happy as he was able to see a lot more form up here. Pawniard, placed his arm on Tyson's head, being careful not to hurt him with his blades. Tyson smiled at his Pawniard. "Pawn.Pawniard.Ard" Pawniard said with a smile towards Tyson.

Alison's eyes drifted to Tyson and she gave a shy smile. "Well it kinda started when I was younger. A-a close r-r-relative of mine came t-t-to visit on my b-b-b-birthday, I had n-n-never met him before that d-d-day. The m-m-moment he-he locked eyes w-w-with me I started to s-s-shake uncontrollably and stutter. A few d-d-days later my parents t-t-took me-e-e to see a doctor and found ou-out that i have so-so-sociophobia, a fear of p-people."She said. "Then about five years later, I-I remember a d-d-day when I ha-had gone to sleep a-and left the window open, wh-when i woke up I-i found a joltik sl-sl-sleeping on my chest. I-I thought it w-was a gift from my dad, that he-e-e had gone out anc ca-aught it for me be-because it was injured bu-but it ran away from m-e-e. The m-m-ain reason i became a tr-trainer is because I-I wanted to make fr-friends with pokemon.... and pe-people too."She managed to say. It looked like her shaking had started up again.
Zephyr clung tightly to his human's head as she began to shake, the poor thing was so frightened! He nuzzled his skull into her head and patted her neck "Cu-boooone, cu-booone!" It said soothingly to her. Alison picked him up off of her head and kissed the top of his skull "You-your a very go-good pokemon Zephyr." She said.

It didn't take long for Jens to realize he was behind in the group, and it felt rather annoying not being involved in the conversation. Why else would he be here? So happily he picked up the pace, throwing himself randomly into the chat, "So do you have any goals then?" The question was intended for both, but he seemed to be looking at Alison mostly, having a warm grin.
Makuhita slowly, but soon enough brought himself up closer with the group, "Maku?" He started poking at Jens' bag. He looked back to him, not sure what he wanted, so he simply grinned to him, petting his head. |

Tyson listened to Alison as she told him how she first came into the sights of pokemon and wanting to become friends with them. "Ahh very interesting of you." He said with a smile as he continued to walk infront of her. Pawniard stayed on Tyson's shoulder and waved to the Cubone on Alison's head and smiled at it.
When Jens caught up with them, he was asked if they had any goals. Tyson looked back at him and said, "Yea, i got 1. And its to be just as good as my uncle. He's a member of the Johto Elite Four. He's Will. He's a pokemon master of Psychic type pokemon." Tyson smiled at Pawniard. "He was my inspiration to be a pokemon trainer, and then pokemon master." He laughed a bit. "But i wanna have all sorts of pokemon, not just Psychics." He smiled and continued walking.

"Well, m-m-my main goal i-i-s to beat m-m-my brother Jake in a p-p-p-pokemon battle." She said. "The rest i w-w-wil determine from th-th-there." she said. Zephyr smiled back at Pawniard and gave a small wave as he continued to cling to his partner's head. Somehow the small ground type pokemon seemed to still be holding onto it's bone club, it was amazing how it did that without dropping it to the ground.
"When I wa-was little my br-br-brother would always tease me-e-e-e about my fear. He j-just kept doing it until he be-be-became a real jerk, and i mean to ev-everybody!"She said. "He talks do-down to al-almost ev-eryone he-he meets." She said. "doesn't care a-at all about po-pokemon, ju-just wants to bet me so h-e-ee can ru- rub my fa-ce in it." She said clenching her fists.

Tyson smirked as Alison told him and Jens what her goal was and what she wanted to do when she was older. "Well i bet you'll be able to beat him after this journey we're taking." Tyson said and smiled. He turned back to see if Jens was still with them and he didnt see anything. Tyson stopped in the middle of the road and looked around for him.
Tyson shrugged his shoulders and turned to Alison. "Looks like Jens snuck off without us." Tyson looked at his Pawniard who looked confused as well. "Makuhita left with him." Tyson turned towards A,lison. "Looks like its just the 2 of us now." He said and continued down the road with Alison and their pokemon.

Alison turned to look as well, Tyson was right and Jens had gone off appearently. "I r-r-really didn't ex-expect him to st-stay with us that l-l-ong anyways, he didn' s-s-seem like the type of g-g-guy who liked to be t-t-t-ied down by a gr-gr-oup." She stuttered. Zephyr patted his human's head, he was a little disappointed that Jens had left without telling them, he could have been a really good friend after a while. He gently tugged his partner's hair so as to direct her eyes back to the route they were on in an attempt to make she she was watching where she was going. It would be bad for the girl's self esteem if she did something like walk into a tree.
