Another straggler looking to start their journey? My my, what an active day this was turning out to be. Ranny yawned and stretched as she got up, summoning another small gust of wind to draw the teenager to her. The Suicune looked her up and down before indicating Rachana towards the podium of pokemon with one of her ribbons, pushing a now well-used piece of paper into her hands.
I am Ranny, I am substituting for Professor Conifer today. Trainers may take ONE pokemon from this lineup, or get ONE of the mystery pokeballs left on the podium. The Mystery pokeballs can contain ANY pokemon, but once they are opened, the pokemon belongs to you. Choose wisely.
Then, sensing something odd about this particular girl, the Suicune turned and shuffled through a few more notes, this time billowing a new one into her hands via some wind.
Breeders and Coordinators may choose two pokemon of their liking. HOWEVER, they may only choose one Mystery Ball per person. Once you release the pokemon from inside the ball, you cannot ask for another.
The large blue dog sat back and waited for the girl to make a decision now, huffing almost impatiently. It was about time for a nap. |

Rachana was surprised to see the Legendary Pokemon Suicune before her but she remained calm and gave the legendary dog a smile before she read over the two notes that the Suicune, she now knew was called Ranny, handed to her for her to read. "Okay Ranny I'll take Tepig and the right mystery ball," she said softly and pick up the right mystery ball feeling that she will be happy at whatever Pokemon that may be in the ball. She gently press the button on the front of the Pokeball and toss it up into the air as it opened waiting with excitement to see what her second Pokemon will be that will be with Tepig.

Ranny was glad the girl was calm around her, at least. Squealing kids would have drove her Swoobatty at this given moment in time, even though normally such a reaction would have given her pride a bit of a boost. She did tilt her head at the breeder's first choice, though - not many people chose Tepig. In fact, she could only recall one at the moment who had. And when the Mystery Ball revealed what was inside... well. Her head couldn't tilt any further.
"Faaaaala!" the large brown pokemon cried, shaking her fro-like mane as she stepped gently towards her new trainer, hooves clopping on the floor. The Bouffalant was actually rather stunning, if the Suicune had to admit. Well groomed and well mannered helped as well. She looked down towards the Tepig and nodded, shuffling her feet as she waited for what would happen next. The Suicune then indicated Rachana towards the boxes of items, bags, and pokedexes, assuming the breeder would know to take what was needed after that.

Rachana was taken by complete surprise when it was reveled at what Pokemon was in the mystery ball. It was a Bouffalant and a kind one by the looks of it. After she got over her surprise she smiled softly and said, "I have the perfect names for the two of you." She knelt down to Tepig's level and said, "Your name will be Fujimoto," she then stood back up and went to her Bouffalant and touched her muzzle as she said, "And your name will be Hanato."
Rachana then looked up at Ranny and saw that the Suicune motion at some bags, boxes, and Pokedexes. She smiled and pick out a Blue Pokedex, grabbed a Starter box, and took the waist bag. She then turned and smiled at Ranny and said, "Thanks Ranny and I hope Professor Conifer is doing well. Take care," she said politely to the Suicune and with a final smile she motion for her two new friends to follow her.

Walter walked on the path to the pokemon lab after exiting the plane that had taken several hours to arrive. He planned on going to the lab and receiving his pokemon then going and looking for a place to fish for more water type pokemon. He was a little late as the sun had climbed its way into the center of the sky. Slowly but surely he made his way to the front door as a pair of people passed him by. As the door swung shut he caught it and entered saying "Hello I would like to get my starter pokemon if that's alright." He then waited for a response because someone had to be here unless the people before were thief's.

The Professor heard a visitor come in. The lab seemed busy today. "Come on back here to get it then! Trainer, coordinator, or breeder?" she asked the new comer after beckoning him to where the starter pokemon were.

"Nice to meet you Professor my name is Walter and I am an aspiring coordinator." Walter said following her into the lab into a room with some pokemon and a singular ball on a pedastal in the back.

The Professor nodded along as Walter talked. Ah, so he was a Coordinator. "Choose two pokemon then, and you'll find the proper equipment over there." She pointed to the line up of starter pokemon and the remaining mystery ball, then she pointed out the proper equipment he'd need.

"Thank you Professor, I will take the Totodile and the mystery ball." Walter said picking up the ball. He gracefully tossed it up to let the pokemon out from inside hoping that it was another water type pokemon or at least an ice type.

The Totodile made his way over to Walter while the mystery ball pokemon revealed himself to be none other than Swinub! "Swinub.! the pokemon said lazily. He made an attempt to go toward his trainer, but stopped short and simply stayed still. Clearly he wasn't very motivated to continue his path. "Well that's that." The Professor chimed in. "Your equipment is over there. Pick it up and you're free to leave." The Professor made her way to some other part of the lab. Walter went over and grabbed his supplies before returning his pokemon. "Thank you again Professor." Walter said before exiting the lab to begin his journey.
