Train grinned, looking first at his partner, then at their opponent. "Again, Peck!" he called to his lovely Skarmory, who responded easily, flying at the Ratatta in a strong attack after being briefly rebuked by the Tackle. Angling her wings, she dove rapidly, hoping to harm the other Pokémon. This time they hit, knocking the small rat Pokémon back.

The Pidgey let out a harsh cry of "Gey!" as the flames hit it, before retaliating with Tackle once again. It would beat this fox!
Eri snarled, before reacting to the attack, retaliating with a quick Peck. She knew her trainer might be annoyed about her attacking, but ignored him, wanting to win this, and quickly.
'Be careful, lovely,' Train thought as he watched his partner attack, knowing she knew what she was doing. The hit was decent, and their opponent hurt.

The Pidgey quickly retaliated, using Tackle once more in an attempt to weaken the Vulpix.
"Great job Eri!" Train called, his Skarmory moving to land beside him. He lovingly ran a hand over her head, before realizing that she definitely needed some healing. "Here, girl. Eat this berry while I use a potion on some of your other wounds, all right?" he murmured, pulling the mentioned items out in order to use them on his partner. The young Skarmory happily ate the offered berry, while Train carefully applied the potion to her worst wounds.
"Thanks, Train," she nearly purred, relaxing as he worked. "We've done well, haven't we?" Her trainer nodded in response to her question, before running a hand over her body.
"You've done really well partner," he told her, before putting his supplies away.
Koko sat down panting. She was tired, and that last battle was almost too much to handle. The little vulpix let out a tired sigh and made her tails sway slightly, looking back up at her trainer for anything that she would like to say.
"...," Coraline quickly walked over to Koko and swiped up the little pokemon. The pink haired trainer held out two oran berries."Eat, eat! You got really beat up in that fight, you need to get your strength and stuff. I don't want you to faint so early on, that's bad for your health. Besides, I'd feel really bad, too," Coraline quickly explained.
Koko squeaked lightly in surprise from being picked up so quickly. She looked closely at the berries and quickly took them both, eating them with haste. Soon, she began to feel its effects.
Koko HP:28/28
"There! Now you're all better," Coraline happily cheered. She ran her hand through Koko's fur and looked towards Train."Nice fight on your end. Who knew a Rattata could be so ferocious, huh?" she laughed.
Koko rested her head against her trainer's chest. She closed her eyes and rested for the time being. Knowing Coraline already, these moments would probably be short, but atleast she had some time to rest.
Well there was definitely no rest for these two. Once they were done battling wilds and took the time to heal their pokemon, a couple of young guys caught up with them. "Looks like you two have been busy all day. What are you trying to pull?" the first guy spoke up to them, looking rather irritated. The guy next to him had much the same look on his face. He also added in something "Yeah! Trying to hog all the wild pokemon to yourself?"
The other guy, obviously the leader of the duo, held his hand out to his friend to get him to shut up. "I think you two should try a real battle. Bet you wouldn't last a couple minutes against us." he said, grinning with confidence.
Coraline raised an eyebrow in surprise. She looked at Train, wondering if they should battle these strange trainers.
"Vulpix..vul..," Koko spoke up. She didn't seem all that excited about battling these people, but she supposed if she had to, she would.
"Well, You up to it, Train?" Coraline asked. She took out Koko's pokeball. Fire against two water types? Yeah, right. She wouldn't risk hurting Koko. Coraline spun the pokeball in her hand, waiting for Train's reply.
"A battle against those two, huh? Yeah," Train responded, looking at the pair calmly, "I'm game for that. Why don't you use that Budew you caught earlier against the Squirtle." Turning to his partner, he calmly asked, "Eri?" The Skarmory nodded silently, staring at the Mudkip with an almost frightening gaze. Yes, she definitely was 'game' for a battle. "Well, we're good then. Hey Eri, start off our battle with a nice Peck on the Mudkip, would ya?"
The Skarmory let out a screech in response, flying high before diving to attempt to solidly Peck the small water-type starter. Her attack landed on the head of the smaller Pokémon, before she took to the air to see how it would retaliate.
"Like that did a thing. Eri, Peck again!" Train said, watching the battle carefully. His partner was in fine shape, easily maneuvering through the battle without a hesitation. Train grinned, fascinated with the beauty in the movements of his starter.
At his order, the Skarmory dove rapidly, once again aiming to hit the other Pokémon with her beak. She had a feeling that this battle was almost over, though she had the feeling the trainer had at least another few Pokémon ready to send out once the Mudkip was down.
[RESULT: 1]
Eri HP: 32/35 Mudkip HP: 8/15
"All right Squirtle, Tackle, quickly!" the first trainer called out, pointing at the Budew. His starter jumped forward, aiming to ram his head against the other Pokémon.
